Thank you JeniandMatt! Few more questions for you.... Did you call them during your estimated dates on VisaJourney timeline and if so how accurate was the estimation? Also, Are you able to ask your fiancé which number he/she called? Thanks!! :D

No my fiance called a couple of days after our estimated timeline here. He was tracking the dates when the members got approved around our Noa1 date already that's the time he called. He said he doesn't wanna call too early because he will just be frustrated when they will give him the canned response that is "still working with February cases". Sorry I don't know the number he called. Will ask him when he wakes up or others here might be able to tell you. Lets ask the knowledgeable person in the thread @Estibaliz help pls 😊

LOL, I don't know everything :P

We never called USCIS, but the number is the one for the costumers service that shows in the NOA1.

This post has the number (1-800-375-5283) along with other useful tips, I think...

Good luck talking with that people! Remember only Tiers 2 are really helpful. Some people advice to insist on the fact the tracker is not working and you need an update on your case.

Hello everyone, I'm new here and I'm just really curious if anyone knows about timing. We filed our I129f on April 6 and got our NOA1 on April 11. We got our NOA2 on August 10. Does anyone know how long until my SO can come here if all process goes well with the embassy? Our NOA2's expiration date is on December 9, can the visa issuance be more than that date? thanks and goodluck to everyone here thats still waiting.

NOA2 is valid strictly 4 months ... during this time you must be interviewed at the embassy no later than the end date, otherwise the entire process must begin anew, by filing a petition I-129f

Exceptions can be in extraordinary situations, on official request, it is better to use the help of attorney in such cases.

we are about sorta kinda in the same ballpark (with immigration who knows, right???)

Philippines Only We Are Talking Here..............

I've seen some speed thru the process in 55 days from NOA2 date.  I've seen some take 75 days from NOA2 date.

Barring a bad xray (I think if they find fly ####### on the film they auto send to sputum cx) but that's the cynicism in me.  After NVC, the pace is totally up to you.  Leisurely stroll thru the process for the 4 month period or step on the gas and roll through it.

About that 4 month expiration thing.......

That is to ensure that the us govt isn't giving you a blank check that is for a lifetime.  The 4 months is easily extended at the will of the State Department (embassy) however it seems to be for merit and not for convenience.  If their appointments are unavailable and you cannot get an interview before the 4 months is up, then they will extend it for you.  If you are worried about your 4 month expiration, don't mind it.

..........

As far as getting to interview as fast as possible, wow, feel fortunate you aren't in this group Greenbaum was discussing the other day.....

Sounds like politics is actually going to affect interviews in Russia starting next month.

Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone around the world :)

It's a local holiday here (patron saint of my town), so I'm still on off/weekend mode  But it's a working Monday for mail, USCIS, NVC and Embassies, so hoping for a good bunch of good news for all of you Aprilites.

There's one thing sure... We all are one day closer to the end ;)

Holiday - well it WAS on Monday and for the remaining hour and 22 min. - in the Philippines.     It's Hero's Day!

Its a national holiday here in the UK too! Another day off work means another full day spent preparing for the next step of the journey! Unfortunately, being a holiday, I cannot call my doctor for my medical/vaccine records. So i'll do that tomorrow.

Im excited for lots of good news from everyone who is still waiting for NOA2. Still checking my case tracker regularly (even though I promised to give myself a break) haha.

I just have one question if someone could maybe help? Do I have to wait until my case has officially been transfered to my local embassy before booking the medical? Do I have to receive any sort of letter from my embassy or can I arrange my medical as soon as I have my case number from NVC?

Thanks IA. Hope everyone has a positive day today to start the week off well!

Check the medical facility website for the required documents. If they don't need your LND number, then probably good to go to get it.  Last few UK's I noticed - they got Medical after the NOA2

Keep in mind a medical is only good for 6 months, If approval goes longer you may have to renew it.  (I know, I just rained on your holiday LOL)

I already received my NOA2. But on the UK medical website it says I need an 'appointment letter from the US embassy' and Im pretty confused what exactly this is. As in, would the NVC number be enough or do I need to wait for a letter to arrive from London.
