Keith I don't know how helpful your Tier 2 was when you called and found out about your RFE, but mine was very helpful. She even told me how to fix it before they issue it with email and direct fax#, but it only works if you know what you left out.

i felt that information was too dangerous to share because too many people might try and jump the shark guessing, causing them longer delays.

i decided to wait for mine to be sure of what they wanted.

Mine was not that helpful.  They just said I got it. Not anything else.  That is good you have that info.

Update: Called NVC yesterday and they said my case # should be ready Monday!

A couple questions as the next part is gearing up.

I am very worried about the "proving domicile in the usa part of the interview"

I have been living as a student in Montreal (where I met my fiancee) for 4 years now. Can I simply show my parents house in the states?

Lastly I was wondering about the I-134... I know the 125% of a 2 person household is 20k.

This year as I was studying in University I only worked part time and my tax return shows income of 10k. If I also have 20k in savings as of now will that be enough or should I also get a co sponsor to be sure.

Thank you so so much!

Here you go... This is my checklist for London. :)

I need for interview (Beneficiary)

  • Passport
  • Birth Certificate (long version) + photocopy
  • Police certificate + photocopy
  • Foreign police certificate (if applicable)
  • Two US sized Passport Pictures
  • Additional proof of relationship
  • DS-160 Confirmation page
  • Adoption Certificate (If applicable)
  • Military record (if applicable)
  • Court & prison records (if applicable)
  • Change of name deed poll (if applicable)

My fiancé needs to send me for interview (Petitioner)

  • Affidavit of support (I-134)
  • Letter from employer
  • W2
  • Paystubs
  • Tax transcripts

I need for Knightsbridge

  • Passport
  • 4 US Sized Passport Pictures
  • Medical Questionnaire
  • Police Certificate
  • Vaccination Record
  • Medical Record From GP
  • Letter from NVC/Embassy
  • Glasses and/or contact lenses (If applicable)

I attended the medical appointment with my fiancee at Knightsbridge on 08/01/2017. Our attorney had advised us to bring an original copy of the police certificate with us, and we're glad we did, because they asked for it. We had ordered two copies of the original police certificate just to be safe, but the desk personnel simply photocopied one of these originals and handed it back to us - they did not keep it. This was just our experience, I know there's some variation between different peoples' stories but hopefully this helps! Good luck!

I did exactly the same thing, ordered two police certificates as i noticed they needed one at the medical and the interview and i was worried that they would take the certificate at the medical and i wouldn't have one for the interview. No harm in being extra cautious eh? :) Good luck for your interview if you haven't already had it :D

Congratulations to all NOA2 winners ! Speedy approvals for all of you, guys, who wait !
We received an electronic copy of I-797 and the date of approval is not August 23, as on the website of USCIS, but  August 22 :P
I still have to prepare some... to print out my DS-160, that attorney did... to get my third police certificate, from Moldova too, because i lived there from my 16 to 18, I I have downloaded scans of all documents on a flash card, and I have a transparent plastic packet that i will take with me to the embassy...i did get 5 photos 1,18 х 1,57 inches for medical exam, and i got a copy of my medical records... early  September I'll get vaccine against  flu,  all the rest vaccinations done )
we all need a shot against flu, because all of us will have an interview at the beginning of  influenza season...literally the day after NOA2, I did load myself   as if my interview tomorrow, at morning dawn  )))   but then i did write everything i need for interview and hung list on the wall :)
i'm lucky that my location, Republic of Tatarstan,  is not far from Moscow, 9 hours by car ) )

Can I ask you both how you obtained your vaccination and medical records? I have obtained my vaccination records before from my GP for my job in the NHS but it literally came typed on a piece of paper that I could have typed myself and printed off microsoft word. Im really worried they wont accept it. Have you already had experience with this?
Thanks!

I called my doctors and explained i was emigrating and that i needed my vaccination record and 2 vaccinations (MMR & TD), the receptionist said that i can just see a nurse rather than a DR and got me booked in. Was really easy and simple :) Also, when they printed off my vaccination record it was on letter headed paper and they stamped it. Hope that helps.

I did, it was basically a summary in date order on one piece of paper. I've got a hiatus hernia which is listed on my summary but I've added my letter from the hospital when i was diagnosed just in case they wanted to have a look at it too.

Yep, i got my summary from a doctor but that was only because i was picking up my prescription, I think a nurse could do it as all the doctor did was print it off the system he didn't have to type anything up. Worth just calling your GP and asking if the nurse can provide you with your vaccination record and your medical summary.
