Hi everyone!!  I'm an April filer as well, my NOA 1 date was April 26th. My fiance lives in France and I live in California. Just like everyone else, my fiance and I are anxiously waiting for NOA2 hopefully! In the meantime, we are trying to focus on working and planning an intimate wedding on December 31st. I'm desperately hoping that he will be here in November, but with so many delays for NOA 2 we have no idea. It's nice to come to this community with others who can relate to our situation.

Did anyone get an informed delivery notification today? Seems awfully quiet today.

So far the only one I've seen today is MissABC from the March filers (189 days). I'm hoping that today sees an uptick like yesterday. There was only a couple of people who had letters in Informed Delivery when I left work yesterday but several others came forward in the afternoon with good news.

Glad(?) to hear I'm not the only one. I think tomorrow I'll be beyond it if the VJ timelines have been moving forward as they have the past week or so because it was originally showing through Aug 25, then 24, and today 23...At this point I'm going to ignore the informed delivery emails. I'd rather have a pleasant surprise than more disappointment. Just hoping for something before the end of the month.

I think there are a few others in the same boat, being beyond the estimated timeline. I think someone might have already used this analogy, but perhaps we've been assigned the slow adjudicator, like the slow cashier at the supermarket who has to look up every produce code.

as soon as VJ only near 20 % of cases, the boat is pretty big...   whole ferry

I must have missed something so I have a lame question regarding calling the NVC, I have been calling the number 603.334.0888 for non-immigrant visas? Should I be calling the immigrant visa number of 603.334.0700? Thank you!

Can someone tell me if the USCIS will update the case status online and text when they send out the NOA 2?

A couple weeks back the case status was working fine. The past few days people have been finding out through the post and their status still says case was received. It can go either way.

I just called the NVC and the CSR said they just received our packet today. Our NOA2 was 8/10, it took 12 days for transit? He said they have up to 2 weeks to enter the case and assign a number. I will be calling every evening starting tomorrow . . .
