Do you get to pick when you interview or are you assigned a date? If you get to choose from open dates, you could always choose a date later that would give you sufficient time for the pay stub to be brought to the interview. Personally that is the route I'd take in your situation as I would rather be safe than sorry (if you can choose when to do the interview).

Yes I think we can choose and are going to do just that. Thanks!

Hey all....

Hoping someone can give me some positive news, or at least some hope. Today is day 139 since they received my application (received March 30), and my NOA1 is dated April 19. I assume it took a while to transfer from Texas to California or something (19 days?).

Anyway, no NOA2 yet, and it's driving me nuts. My fiance is in the Philippines, and we're hoping this is the week. But every day my Informed Delivery shows nothing, and the USCIS website shows nothing. No RFE's. Nothing.

My receipt number ends in 93396, and I saw earlier in the thread that some 80000's have been approved.

Anyway, does anyone have any hopeful words? I'm not sure how to check which ones have been approved or where they are.

Thanks much.

I sent on March 30, and today I just saw through the app that they need more evidence....

I'm in the same boat. No idea on when I'll get the authorization to schedule the interview and no idea on what will be available then. I so want for this uncertainty to end :P

But yeah, there's a chance you get your paystub before interview, but I think it would be ok anyway if you don't :)

Lucky people got the approval barely a week after the response was received. Other unlucky people have to wait for almost the 60 days they apparently have to make a decision after receiving the response.

So yeah, tricky question, but I hope you get the RFE in the mail soon, it's an easy fix and they approve you fast :)

so for me definetily its second term.... :))

I thought you only need it if you have lived for one year or more..

yes, one year or more, police certificate  of my  country provides all regions where I lived more than 6 months. from age of 16 years and all names i used ever.....i think better for me to get the same from other countries, we can ask about any period if we want to...better to get more evidence )

Sure plenty of hopeful words. Average time is around 4 months now or 120 days so you are well past that. Hopefully by end of the month for you.

It's the Government though so no promises.

Where in the philippines is your finacee from?

Mine is in Mindanao

our attorney will complete...:)

You don't need an attorney for that by any means.

It is questions that the foreigner and american can easily AND more accurately fill out.

It will most likely be the Attorney's Aide that fills it out base upon info you will just have to give to them.

My fiance' is from Ukraine as well. She now lives in Bryansk due to all the troubles in Donetsk (her hometown). I've been to Kiev and found it to be a lovely place. I really enjoyed my time there. All together I have been to Ukraine once and Russia three times. We are waiting to see which embassy the NVC will send our application to. Moscow would be the most convenient for her. We will see.

It's great to hear from you! :) My fiance has been to Kiev with me as well on a winter vacation and he loved it too! You also should go to Lviv, my boy loved it so much he didn't want to leave haha, it's a really really beautiful place :)

So you guys have your NVC number  already? What date is your NOA 2? And why do you want to apply for Visa in Moscow, not in Kiev? From what I know in Moscow the queues are much longer to wait for your visa appointment than in Kiev 😵

So, I checked my case status today. I have deliberately not checked for a while and deleted the app from my phone. I think I was getting a little obsessive about trying to glean whatever information I could from various sources. I am an engineer. So, it goes with the territory. In any case, the USCIS site said my case was approved two days ago, 14 Aug. Hopefully the hard copy will arrive soon.

Congrats !!! Happy for you ! :)

As @Keith & Monica said, that's a tricky question. Until I see the tracker back to work for at least 2-3 days in a row, my answer is still NO, don't expect to see the approval there... I'm counting only one day as in yesterday right now, since it doesn't seem to be updating for approvals today... we'll see :)

Congrats!!  It is the best feeling in the world when you see the approval!!

Thank you so much! Yes you're right I haven't been as happy since my fiance left 7 months ago... Today is a greatest day so far! I wish to all of us here to be as happy ASAP!!! God knows how much everyone here needs that. People here are the most strong and patient ones by far 😀 and great news are coming every day, I am so happy for everyone who's getting approved too, like I can finally feel what they feel. In a couple short months all of us will be with our loved ones, and that is like a happy end of a fairy tale. I'm amazed by how strong can be love, in relation to every couple here, when two loving hearts are separated for so long time - nobody can really understand how hard it is but us... How strong that love is to overcome hard times like this damn endless USCIS process... I wish endless love to every single couple here, and may our patience be fully rewarded!!! We deserve it.
