problem is i don't know of what documents are needed and where to start. My lawyer said i have to wait or NOA2 :(

Correct. once you receive NOA2 and have a NVC number, you will get a packet detailing the next steps...however.. some things are universal....you know you will need police clearance from there. as well as an NBI. which you can get from Phil consulate there in Abu I'm sure...always double check any advice given, sometimes we are well meaning but wrong.

Get police clearance there. It might take weeks. The others are just easy to get.

Along with the police clearance that helpful Chris and Jeni has already advised you to get, you can work on getting your birth certificate and vaccine records ready.

Hope everything works out for you :)

@jaybeltisroy

The tricky one will be the photocopy of the Biometrics Page of your passport...Since your employer confiscated your passport for the length of your contract, you'll need to ask them to photo-copy that page for you.I could be wrong but I believe that is needed for Medical appointment.

I need it as part of the packet 3, first thing. Then I also need the passport for the medical and, of course, for the interview... So yes, that's something to have indeed. Hopefully he has a photocopy already.

As the petitioner..I had to either supply my Birth Cert or Passport for I.D purposes when I filed. My 70's style BC was hard to read and screamed RFE, so I went the Passport route. I had to copy every single page of that thing and submit that...Man that sucked! Memory lane and totally random I know, but conversation made me think of it.;)

Lol, I know. When we were preparing the petition we had to ask for Gary's certificate via mail, because he was born in California. We were worried it could take forever, so we thought of using the passport copy as plan B. Glad we didn't have to, because copying all pages of it seemed annoying and ridiculous to us.

It costed us $52 dollars for two certified copies that came after 3 weeks. I got 4 copies of mine for free and in a day. Just saying :P

The first table is the very last sheet of the medical examination form I-693,

The second table is information from the official site of the American Center for Disease Control

DTP/DTaP/DTA     According to the table, must be done for children from 2 months to 6 years. Those. If you are more than 6 years old, you do not need to do this inoculation

Td/Tdap                This vaccine must be done from 7 years to 65 years. So if you do not have it, then you will have to do it. Even if you had this vaccine, you still need to take into account that this vaccine is updated every 10 years, so if you have had it, but it has already expired, you will have to do it on a new one

IPV          This vaccine must be  done from 2 months to 18 years.

MMR ( combined measles, mumps and rubella vaccine)  must be from 12 months of life and until victory ) )... So, if you do not have this vaccine, then you have to get it. MMR is a combined vaccine against three diseases. But it happens that vaccinations against these three diseases are delivered in different combinations, for example rubella parotitis separately and measles separately. This combination is allowed by the instruction

Rotavirus -  only up to 8 months of age

Hib -             from 2 to 59 months of age

Hepatitis A (hepatitis A) -  from 12 months to 23 months of age

Hepatitis B (hepatitis B) - should be  before the age of 18 years

Meningococcal (MCV4) - must be done from 11 years to 18 years

Varicella (chickenpox) -  from 12 months of life to 65 years. Note on chickenpox, see below.*

Pneumococcal -  from 2 months to 59 months of life and then only after 65 years

Influenza -         vaccination against influenza. If you go through the immigration process in the influenza season, then you must get this vaccine. It is for everyone, starting at 6 months old

*Chickenpox.
If you are a child chickenpox and make out a vaccination certificate in the MOM, they will take and write this fact with your words. But if for some reason you did not issue a vaccination certificate in the IOM and now deal with vaccinations from an American doctor, he most likely will not believe in your "I was sick, now I have immunity," and will send you to pass an analysis for antibodies. it is better to deal with vaccinations at home, to issue a vaccination certificate to come to the American doctor with everything ready.

If you are over 18 years old, but still not 65, then you need the following vaccinations:

1. Td / Tdap (diphtheria-tetanus).
2. MMR (measles-mumps-rubella).
3. Influenza (influenza), only if the season is influenza.
4. Varicella (chickenpox). About it already written above.

Who else is excited for the start of a new week? Hopefully it should mean lots more NOA2s for us April filers!

Matt and I are in the process of buying a new house at the moment just to add the growing list of planning a wedding, homeschooling my son, gathering our visa documents and selling all of my stuff! I guess it's true that a woman's work is never done!

I've finally got around to looking at what documents i'll need to gather. I've left the affadavit of support down to my fiance for now to begin working on. Besides getting copies of my birth certificate, passport photos, vaccination history and police certificate is there anything else I need to gather? The first step on the London Embassy page says form DS-160. Can I do this now? I just tried and it appears to let me begin filling it out.
