If it really is the passport photo, i do not know how I will solve that problem because my fiance is in Spain and that is how big ID photos are in Spain. I'm going to stop speculating because it's not helping. Once I get the letter I'll let everyone know.

I doubt it has to do with the intent if you included both letters signed by both of you. 

 

Until you get it you won't know so just wait and see. I would recommend going over your packet, if you made yourself a copy and see what they might want.

 

Other than a missed check mark or blank box, the most it could be is additional proof of meeting each other. Depending on the adjudicator, they may want more proof of meeting that requirement. Again, no one can tell you for sure until you get the hardcopy. If you think it's your fiance's picture size then get a replacement ready so you can send it off quickly.

 

Whatever it is, just be ready.

I had my photo done digital and on paper in bulgaria and send it to my fiance on email. He went in Wallgreen and they made my photo the required size (and made the backgrount whiter because the person in Wallgreen told that is not bright enough-  what a good worker)

I'll be down there next Thursday late evening. My flight gets in 10:36pm Jamaica time. I chose a evening flight because I'm gonna go to work that day and drive straight to the airport from there. I save a vacation day leaving in the evening.

 

I have a 2 1/2 hour layover in Florida so I might have my dad scoop me up for a quick dinner before getting on my connection. 

 

I usually take a red eye but this time I'm spending the whole day traveling.  As much as I love San Diego, our airport is TINY so we have to layover at a legit  pretty much any where we ever want to go.  But I hear ya on the extra day of work.  We've all exhausted our vacation time and our bank accounts during this process so any adjustments we can make to salvage both are worth it!  Safe travels!

I do think it might be the passport picture. I took mine at Costco's photo service while visiting to avoid that problem, but I know I'll most likely need new ones for the interview stage because they are supposed to be less than six months old (that will be end of September).

I'm not really worried about it though. I think with digital cameras and photos nowadays, it can't be that difficult to find someone capable of doing them the 'right' size.

Fotolab in Spain offer both US and U.K. Passport photo sizes. I got my US ones done there - 4 for €5

ive also noticed photo booths in carrefour shopping centres have a 5 cm x 5 cm option.

In London they wanted £17 for 4 US visa photos so I've downloaded an iPhone app for the next time I need them!

I was just thinking of when Trilobyte started hanging out on Marchies forum, because he was being left behind on February, and how he got approved not long after that. Hope the same happens to you

So! I called USCIS and spoke with a customer service rep by simply pushing 1,2,2,4,2,1. I got on with someone instantly. A lady answered and asked me simple information about me and my receipt number. I told her I was inquiring about my case and to see if there are any updates as the case tracker isn't working and many people on VisaJourney in March and April are receiving their NOA2's. Of course, she tried to tell me they're only processing January 1st but I said, "Then why are people getting approved in March and April?" and she was like "That's just strange," and started talking in a very canned response and told me to go on their website and blah blah blah. So I asked if I can be transferred to a tier 2 officer and I was transferred and had to leave my name and they would call me back.

Needless to say with such enthusiasm (note the sarcasm) I received a phone called within 5 minutes with a monotone voice answering to me. I explained the situation that the trackers were not working and people on VisaJourney had gotten their approvals in March and April, and I was inquiring about whether I was one of the cases who got an RFE or an approval. She simply stated it was in processing. And that was it. I couldn't get any information. 

Looks like I'm calling my senator!

I believe I contacted my senator enough. I sent him an email and I just got off the phone after having left him a voicemail. I'm thinking of writing a letter and sending that out as well. I just want answers and don't like the way USCIS treats it's customers, especially acting as If I'm stupid saying they aren't processing cases beyond January 1st. We all know here they're processing many cases, from all the way back in December. So, I'm doing what I have to do and at this point it doesn't matter. I'm fighting for my NOA2 now.

Wow, London sure is ripping you off. I got 4XUS passport pictures for £6 in Manchester . Typical London.

I'd bring the NOA1 and NOA2 with you and all documentation showing ties to home country. If you have the interview date thats even better to really show that you'll be going home. Its better to be over prepared before crossing.

 

What country are you traveling from? I'm not sure about obtaining a tourist visa during this process, as I don't need one.

 Yeah I'm from Mexico, my tourist visa is still valid for 5 more years.

But yeah I will be carrying every single piece of information of our K1 and a letter from my employer saying I have to get back to work

Hahah, I was thinking the same thing with Trilobyte. Maybe moving to the April filers will be my good luck charm. I contacted USCIS today and my senator, so maybe my luck will surface!

Honestly, I think we will be safe. Try not to worry too much about that stuff. I wish I had my NOA2 already as well.... you pay how much for this service and they get to horse around and lie to the people that are servicing them. I don't think Donald Trump will be very successful with cutting legal immigration in half though. Just try to keep the positive vibes!
