I cant find an A number

Yes, on the NOA2 of your K1, you will find your alien number  right above your name  in the "beneficiary" section.

This number is also on the actual K1 visa that is in your passport, it starts with A and is followed by 9 numbers.

We are saying the same thing. Not under registration number on my k1 but under "annotation", hope that helps.

No, your alien number is yours and only yours. 

If your child does not have an alien number then I suggest you leave this space blank. He/she will get one after you file for AOS.
