@JBMG @trininurse @Thesmiths2016 @chammaThank you all. :)

Here's what I think I'm going to do.

I'm going to ask my wife to find her all vaccinations documents. If she doesn't have any then I'll tell her to get the blood test done and take that test report to her medical examination. Am I on a right track?

I am afraid that would not work.. if you do not have vaccination records for the dates when you were a toddler(say for MMR); this blood test wouldn't work and would not be considered.

& if you say you will get a Hep B vaccination - the dosage schedule would span for 6 months. I have tried to tell what I understand best, the decision is yours! Good Luck :)

hi @amistry18

I remember you had a change in address, after you sent out your documents. Am I right? Can you tell me if that would reset the 11 week timer? Did you get it confirmed with the NVC? Any info in this regard would be great!

Thanks

Has anyone had any luck getting an expedited process through NVC

I was granted an expedited process at both USCIS and NVC and submitted all my final documents on April 18.  I called them on April 20 and the costumer service agent confirmed they received the documents but that it would still take 11 weeks for them to review my file.  I find this to be crazy considering the immigrant is facing a medical emergency and we have been approved for an expedited process.  Anyone else experiencing a wait of 11 weeks even WITH expedited approved?

yes u can its cheaper to do it at a regular dr so what she needs to do is go to her local health ceneter or her dr with her immunization records and they will tell her if she is missing any vaccines and she can have it done before the medical

So, just by blood test they will be able to see what vaccines they need and don't need? I was wondering about this or how they would decide what is needed without any past documentation for those who can't get it. I heard it was very costly too. I may have to look into this to do here before we go abroad.

A blood test should show the vaccines you have (or don't have) in your system.. contact your medical exam office and confirm what is needed and the process.

You may have had a vaccine in the past but need it again.. the blood work would see that..
