I saw 3 N/A yesterday evening and status is 'At NVC'.  But I still haven't received an e-mail from NVC.  Should I call them or wait till them to send me e-mail?

And does anyone know how long would it take to get interview schedule for Mumbai, India consulate?

Scan Date: Feb 10.  9 weeks 4 days.

If my father is my joint sponsor and submitting an I-864, and my mother is submitting an I-864A, do I need to send in a marriage certificate for them? They file taxes jointly.

Yes, to prove their relationship. The A is only needed if the father's income isnt enough though

I was under the impression that since they live in the same household and file taxes jointly I need to submit an I-864A for my mother as well.

Can anyone else corroborate?

I think you should submit I-864A for your mom too since they are filing tax jointly.  In my case, I filed I-864 for my dad and I-864A for mom even if dad's income was enough.

And did you submit a marriage certificate for your parents to prove their relationship?

Just rang the nvc now and on hold for 24 minutes! Geez , they really wont even share infotmation on what scan dates are alreafy in the review department. Better in this forum, we update ourselves on who get ccs.. But the lady was so nice to tell me not to worry on my AOS typo error coz if its just minor ul just have to bring another to ur interview! Such a relief it kills my paranoia haha

I have submitted the DS-260 and ALL documents required via email on April 20th, 2017.  I have also already been approved for expedited process.  For those of you who have gotten an expedited processs at NVC, how long after you submitted documents was your case CC and your interview made?

"Form I-864A may only be used when a sponsor's income and assets do not meet the income requirements of Form I-864 and the qualifying household member chooses to combine his or her resources with the income and/or assets of a sponsor to meet the requirements." - instructions.

My parents-in-law also file taxes jointly but my mother-in-law doesn't really work or her income is really low, so I am just sending my father in law's i864 and his pay stubs, W2s and employment letter that clearly show that he is the one making most or all of the money so the i864a isnt really necessary. IT MIGHT DEPEND ON THE CONSULATE though, but I know two peole who were interviewed at the same consulate as I will be and neither of them had i864A's filed, even though the joint sponsors file taxes with their spouses. But do as you feel comfortable

Good morning...just joined a few minutes ago.  Our scan date was 2/2/17 and our CC date was 4/19/17 (one day shy of 11 weeks).  I got an email this morning with our checklist.  Luckily both items can be brought to the interview  The two items we need:  A complete set of our 2015 W2 forms and a police certificate (from Mexico).  I'm reading conflicting information on the PC.  Some say you need it for the interview in Jaurez, but some say they won't even ask.  Does anyone know?  We are working with an attorney and my husband is waiting on a call back from her.  Also, this has been asked a million times, I'm wondering how long before his interview is scheduled?

We've been working on this for almost 3.1/2 years (he had a complicated case) and I can't believe we are so close to been done!!
