Hahaha. I'm the same way. My husband seems so laid back. I just want to shake him while asking HOW can you possibly be so at ease?!?! Lol but hopefully soon we can look back and laugh at ourselves and see that our worrying was for nothing lol. Good luck!

You would have to be very unlucky for it to take that long when comparing to recent other ones done with EP.  I'll be emailing my docs next week and am really hoping for a max 2 week turnaround!

08 September 2016 - I-130 sent to USCIS Chicago Lockbox (FILED FROM ABROAD)

14 September - I-130 received at Nebraska Service Center

16 September - NOA1 via e-mail

29 September - notice returned to USCIS because the Post Office could not deliver it

22 November - NOA1 finally received in the mail (in the US)

31 March 2017 - NOA 2 via e-mail, app and USCIS website

3 April - NOA 2 received in the mail (in the US)

11 April - Case Was Sent to Department of State

Scan date: Feb 1st

 

10 weeks 6 days now. I see others with ridiculously fast electronic processing and  scan dates later than ours with ccs, and I begin to wonder what is taking so long. I'm starting to despair that our paperwork has been lost or that we are headed for a checklist. I really can't take another 11 weeks of this :( 

 

Congrats to all the ccs today! I really hope something happens for us tomorrow.

Don't get depressed. Did you call them on Monday?

If you don't have a change on the crack site by midnight on the 19th give NVC a call. They were quite upfront with me saying to call them if I get to my deadline day at midnight and haven't heard from them. I suggest calling the next day at 7am if you can ... less or no wait time, and better moods on th other end of the phone
