I am not 100% sure yet since USCIS website still says "Case was sent to the Department of State" but just saw that CEAC shows 3 N/A this morning and Visa Status Check says "At NVC", so hopefully case complete. Scan date was Feb 10th so that's exactly 9 weeks.

Many Congratulations!! Nailing it in 9 weeks, makes us to stay hopeful for a long journey.Have a smooth journey ahead!!

My scan date is February 3.  April 21 makes it exactly 11 weeks for me..so hopefully something soon

Please start calling :) once every shift :) you are so close :) best of luck ;)

yes, that does help.  Makes me feel a lot better lol

Unfortunately, the question is displayed as "Were you previously employed?

  • If No is selected, you don't enter any previous employment.
  • If Yes is selected, you must provide the previous employment information for up to 10 years.

Didn't feel like "No" would have been the right answer.  I'm in constant fear of a checklist  !

Good night question, are we suppose to include passport size picture of the beneficiary in the package? Cause I don't see where in the cover sheet it ask for passport size photo!

Hmmm, for me, we sent passport size to be sure heheh

but have extra for the medical and interview :) (it should be identical)

And as i read, which we didnt know beforehand, it is best to send some proof of relationship, like photos and all, :) take note of the word SOME :) and bring everything you can on interview

I included two, I read somewhere in a list but I couldn't find it in a cover sheet either.  Regardless I had included them before I realised it wasn't listed so they have them regardless.  We do need them also for the medical and the interview so i'm going to need more which is annoying, but I can't tell you for sure whether its a requirement at NVC stage. Perhaps it used to be and isn't now?

Likewise :) we sent too :)

HAHAHA you made me laugh out loud here.  I wonder the same thing ... its a lot of work to do for a fake relationship. That being said, I personally know of 2 people who are "married" to friends of theirs and got away with it, doing adjustment of status.  They're acquaintances, not people I would call friends, as my friends have a conscience.  But it really is a ridiculous thought that people would do this much paperwork for fun.

With the agony, loneliness, waiting, expenses and all whew! If it's fake, Can't believe anyone would like to try what we guys have been through and still going through

I wouldn't call it fun, but fraud.

Some people just want to get entry to USA, no matter the means. We have to go through all the hoops because people misuse the system and they don't have anything to loose, so they are willing to take any risk. Genuine people have their relationship to look out for, so we have to make all the necessary preparations and answer any ridiculous questions they throw at us. I hate those people. I have heard many stories of people getting married for LPR status and some even remain married until they had Citizenship. That's something that we are all paying for. It is especially hard for people like me who are from a high fraud country. Whenever people hear that I married to a USC, the first question they ask is "Please set me up, too"; which is (Insulting to say the least) really annoying and makes me so angry at them. They just think everyone just lives to go to US. That's ridiculous and just so frustrating.

Sorry for all the ranting and thank you for your time. I wish no one faces these kind of ridiculous experience on top of all the questions we have to face at Visa Interview.

I 100% agreed with you @Tanish. When my American friends came to know about marriage ( I being US citizen and my wife being an Indian citizen), they asked me how much she paid me? I mean seriously! Instead of saying congratulations or happy for you, I was asked that ridiculous question.

😔😔 sorry for saying this, how can they be like that :( anyway, lemme say this to you, congratulations on your wedding, 😍and am wishing you all the best in this journey and best of everything with your life with your wife  after all this process :)
