I am not 100% sure yet since USCIS website still says "Case was sent to the Department of State" but just saw that CEAC shows 3 N/A this morning and Visa Status Check says "At NVC", so hopefully case complete. Scan date was Feb 10th so that's exactly 9 weeks.

Unfortunately, the question is displayed as "Were you previously employed? 

• If No is selected, you don't enter any previous employment.
• If Yes is selected, you must provide the previous employment information for up to 10 years.

Didn't feel like "No" would have been the right answer.  I'm in constant fear of a checklist  !

Hmmm, for me, we sent passport size to be sure heheh 

but have extra for the medical and interview  (it should be identical) 

And as i read, which we didnt know beforehand, it is best to send some proof of relationship, like photos and all,  take note of the word SOME  and bring everything you can on interview

That being said, I personally know of 2 people who are "married" to friends of theirs and got away with it, doing adjustment of status.  They're acquaintances, not people I would call friends, as my friends have a conscience.  But it really is a ridiculous thought that people would do this much paperwork for fun.

Some people just want to get entry to USA, no matter the means. We have to go through all the hoops because people misuse the system and they don't have anything to loose, so they are willing to take any risk. Genuine people have their relationship to look out for, so we have to make all the necessary preparations and answer any ridiculous questions they throw at us. I hate those people. I have heard many stories of people getting married for LPR status and some even remain married until they had Citizenship. That's something that we are all paying for. It is especially hard for people like me who are from a high fraud country. Whenever people hear that I married to a USC, the first question they ask is "Please set me up, too"; which is (Insulting to say the least) really annoying and makes me so angry at them. They just think everyone just lives to go to US. That's ridiculous and just so frustrating.

 

Sorry for all the ranting and thank you for your time. I wish no one faces these kind of ridiculous experience on top of all the questions we have to face at Visa Interview.

Thanks for trying Rand K but unfortunately, this doesn't help as my issue doesn't come up in that chain at all.  The address, phone number and etc fields even for gaps are required and there is no mention of it in the post, just that it has to be listed.

Thank you for your kind words. This situation doesn't happen with all the people going through the same ordeal. VJ is really the great help for all going through Immigration.

If you're asking about my case then My Second Scan Date was 26th January and Case Completed on 5th April. Just the day after my birthday and My Wife's interview is in May and her birthday is in May. I'm really happy right now.. Hope you all get you CC soon.

I've been following along and I know it's always reassuring to see a new CC posted during this long waiting process.  We got ours today!

 

Scan Date: 2 Feb

CC: 14 Apr  (The 3 NA's showed up in the afternoon and I called to confirm)  10 weeks and 1 day

I faced the same scrutiny when people found out I was with a US citizen... a few acquaintances actually asked if I was with them for a visa. It's insulting.
