NVC Filers - April 2017

Hi,just checking, can we get all vaccinations required after noa? Or we have to wait after they schedule interview? Thanks

Vaccinations have to be current so if you get them too early, certain ones might expire like the flu shot. As for the immigration medical, I believe you need the interview letter and a police certificate. You should check the requirements for your country on the nvc site.

Received our case and invoice numbers today. Yippee.  My wife managed to get a lovely guy on the phone who helped her through the DS-261 and reviewed that on the spot.  Now I'll of course be obsessively checking to see when the first invoice is unlocked.

i dont think the flu shot is an issue that is something seasonal you can take your health cards or records and check to see if you have all your vacines and try updating them before because you would have to pay more at the medical.....

That is what im thinking actually. I cant even do anything about police certificate until i get my nvc welcome package, i need it to get police cert. gah! And ya my USC husband just called the IRS to change address to mail his tax. Finally lol

Congrats!  You're at around the same step as me.  I'm waiting for my DS 260 to unlock

Yup, that I have to agree. My husband and I looked at the prices for London and they were exorbitant!

We're still waiting on Police Certificate too   

 

How is everyone going to send their documents?  Fedex? USPS Priority 2 day/Certified? UPS?

We will most likely send it via Fedex with tracking number. My friend mentioned as well to copy everything we send in case NVC misplace it.

hahaha. Yes, Thank goodness I found this website. It somehow seems easier to be waiting with people in the same situation. I think I'm going to have to find a new hobby for the next couple of weeks because this wait just might drive me right round the bend.

I just received welcome email from NVC, subject title "MTL######### (ACL FOR WWRO - 10AUG2016)"

 

The welcome email one my husband received on Apr 10 subject line " MTL######### (PAOSF I-130 FOR NEOPOST DS-1200)(CC) "

 

What does the ACL for WWRO mean and why is it dated 10AUG2016???

 

Does all applicant receive the similar welcome email?

 

The DS-261 shows COMPLETED and AOS fee shows PAID.

IV fee still not unlocked... I called yesterday in hopes of having someone review and possible unlock the IV fee for me, but the gentlemen said it'll take 3 weeks.
