ceac, not really a status but just shows you the 3rd n/a but mostly call to get the status.

so once you pay your nvc fees and send your documents you can start checking your visa application on the site?

pretty much. call to make sure you get a scan date and from there just start checking every once in a while. also once case is complete you status will say at nvc

This is the link where I could check the "N/A". On the other link, I would just get a message stating that they received my documents on XX date.

Hi my I130 has been just approved at USCIS (3 days before) , not received by NVC yet. So is it a right place to go. or cases discussed here are much more ahead then please direct me to the right groups. So I could prepare for NVC journey well ahead before case number gets available.

 

As you guys are all ahead of me , anyways it will help me a lot.

 

I have some questions :

 

1> I know that we can choose petitioner or beneficiary as agent. But which one would help us better.?????? makes process faster.

     (I am here in USA and my wife is in India. )  

 

2> So once I choose the agent as me (petitioner), all mail will be directed to me starting from welcome at NVC to case transferred to Consulate .

     Is it the right understanding ???? I don't know if there is any letter also coming from NVC/ consulate for medical or any check list something. please explain if I have half knowledge or I am wrong at all.

 

3> And once the case transferred to India (Mumbai Consulate), who will receive all documents in future. ???? 

 

4> I just started to read about sending package to NVC which says 2 way , electronic or mail.

     So how they decide it . or I can do it either way, or its really depends on which country beneficiary is from ????

 

I don't have started really to read in deep yet. but I have some question superficially, but as group is more active as well as experienced, I know I will get help a lot.
