@heyusa Our case was originally in Nebraska, too, got transferred to Texas last month. Hope they get yours soon!!!

I'll go ahead and call the NVC, hopefully they have gotten it by now.

Yea because I looked back at ours and USCIS gave our notice on March 10,2015 and our lawyer notified us that they received our fee bills from NVC on April 6, 2015. It was 2 years ago( we had steps to complete in between) so not sure how fast they are now but I read normally is it 15-30 days for it to be transfered or recieved.

I'm so glad more people who just got their case numbers are joining this forum chain :) hopefully we can keep each other updated on status since I'm nowhere near case complete!

I'm probably driving my husband nuts by checking the IV bill five times a day hahaa

I was in Nebraska and got NOA2 a day earlier than you, called the nvc today and they said they don't have the case. perhaps try uscis and see what they say. maybe they haven't sent them yet ?? :/

I in Nebraska and transferred to Texas. Was approved 3/16, case sent out 3/22, received by nvc 3/30 or 31 so takes about 2 weeks or so. Once they receive it, you should have a case number within a week. Just keep calling nvc :)

Hi

scan date Feb 16, 2017

Waiting

I haven't got a check list to see if I forgot anything.

Sent in more support letters on March 20.

Sent in a police certificate on April 5.

Was this bad sending in couple things

at different times? My attorney doesn't think so.

Are we in week 7 or back to week 1?

i heard that it's gonna be 11 weeks until cc.

You back to week 1. My original package scan date was January 19, I sent a police certificate later and was received on Feb 14. Nvc started counting my 11 weeks from Feb 14

Our case was received at the NVC today.

Approved at USCIS 3/27

sent to NVC 4/4

received at NVC 4/10

they said to call back tomorrow for case number. Hopefully it'll be assigned that fast. Baby steps!

Will the NVC be closed on Friday for Good Friday?

Ugh, that's is what I thought.

I assumed my attorney would have been on top of that. I hadn't done enough research before hand or I would have avoided dragging out this slow process.

My wife will be very unhappy.
