where are you guys seeing the Scan date for your documents?

the nvc lady told me they've received our packages but when I go to the ceac status tracker website and check our status, it still says your ds260 was received and send the packages now to nvc.

I'm confused

The date the NVC representative told you the packages were received is your scan date or the date you completed your DS 260 whichever is later

Hello!

It's the date they received your package. If they didn't give you a date, I suggest you call them and ask them what is your scan date (or when did they receive your package). Good luck! :)

Scan Date: 01/26

CC: 04/06

It's not really "posted" anywhere. Best to call and ask the date they recieved all of your documents

Hello everyone,

I submitted the DS260 online on March 19th and have the printed out, barcoded confirmation, and our scan date is April 5th. When I called to get the scan date, they said they had received our package on April 5th, but the guy reminded me to submit the DS 260... I said we already had and asked if he couldn't see it, and he said he couldn't see it even if I had submitted it, he just wanted to remind me to submit it? It seems like he should have been able to see that I had submitted it. Do you think I should follow up with this, or have other people been told the same? Thanks everyone, and best wishes to all of us waiting!

I suggest you follow up with them. Submission of DS 260 is crucial. Apr 5 would not be considered your scan date if they still say that your DS 260 hasn't been submitted yet!

Yea, Nebraska too!

We received an email on april 6 saying they sent our case to Dept of State for visa processing but USCIS my case status hasn't updated yet as well.

Once NVC receives our case they will notify us via email and mail the IV package right? Can you please let me know when you receive or hear any news from NVC? I will let ya know as well :) Thanks.

You'll get an nvc welcome letter from nvc but might take two weeks. You should start calling nvc to confirm when they received your file and for your case/invoice identification number (got mine about a week + after uscis sent out my file by calling nvc).

Then you'll need to submit the ds 261 and pay the aos fee.  Call them again to review the ds261 over the phone which starts unlocking the IV fee. Then after another week or two, pay the IV fee when available.

after all this, submit your documents lol
