Hey guys,

 

Our iv package was delivered to nvc this Monday . The aoc package was delivered a week before that . The ds260 was filled last week. So technically we've sent in all the required stuff .  Yet there is no scan date showing for us. Is this normal ?

 

I thought 4, 5 working days was the average for this ?

 

Where can I track the scan date in case I'm at the wrong page ? I used the ceac status tracker page.

In this case, I would suggest you call them and ask what is your scan date.

Pay AOS fee as soon as it's available.

Call NVC, review DS 261, +1 week you should be able to pay IV Fee.

Thank you!  I just called nvc. the lady said they've received both our packages. Last one on April 5. so I believe that's our scan date?

 

she said they're under review and it can take up to 11 weeks  

 

we've been at nvc stage since May of last year caz we couldn't find a joint sponsor. now this feels so long a wait.

I'm sorry to hear it has been so long for you! Yes, April 5th is your scan date; and yes, it's a waiting time of 11 weeks.

My AOS Fee just updated to "PAID" and IV Fee reflects "PAY NOW" but when clicking on "PAY NOW" for the IV Fee, the next page doesn't allow me to select the IV Fee.

Has anyone else gone through this?

Call the NVC. This happened to us.  When I called, the DS-261 was completed incorrectly. The NVC opened it back up, I resubmitted, they opened up the IV fee completely. Good luck.

Mine was correct and the first time they said they reviewed but didn't per the call this morning.  The lady this morning said it wasn't confirmed reviewed and she reviewed it again.  Called an hour ago and they said it might take a week to unlock so to try again Monday. 

 

How long did it take you to unlock IV?

hey guys is it that nvc has a standard wait time of 11 weeks?? or does it differ for each country ??? is there any trinidadians or caribbean nationals who can respond to this question??? anyone is welcomed to reply ?

Hello! Current waiting time for EVERYONE is 11 weeks.

However, this doesn't mean it will take EVERYONE those 11 weeks, mine was 9 weeks 4 days.

How long did it take you to unlock IV?

I called that evening.  It was unlocked the next morning.

We will make it lol But I agree.  i wish they would speed up the process.  Being apart for the first year of marriage sucks!
