i just submitted the DS-261 agent form and it appears that i can proceed to pay my invoice fees, however the website says wait up to 3 weeks to submit payment.

thoughts?

call them to see if they received the form then if you get a nice rep they will be able to verify it for you then the fees will show up.

thank you @JessieABC ..... I do plan on making the changes.. I just thought that since he knew i was married he would have filed my taxes as married and not single anymore. I was scared of sending as single and having a checklist, i will definitely do an ammend.

The same thing happened to us. Our lawyer recommended we do an amended because NVC would have made us explain why it was filed single. We ended up doing the amended which was for 2015 but went ahead and filed 2016 and sent that in so we would have the most recent and wouldn't have to worry about them asking for it.

Good luck!

Hi, did you call NVC to confirm that they received the documents? If so, when do they scanned your documents on their system? Because on that date (which becomes the so-called scanned date) starts the waiting of 11 weeks, to hear if your case got completed (assuming there is no RFE - checklist) unfortunately, which i hope you no one gets it (from the time NVC receives the document for the checklist and scanned it again) the time resets and you get to wait another 11 weeks,

call NVC and ask if they finished reviewing your documents, and wait for the interview schedule,

as to when or how long to get the interview schedule, remains unknown

good luck :)
