Congratulations @TinaYAlberto & @Samad194

@Johnny385 - I dont think leaving them blank will do any harm to you unless it is not applicable to you. Only thing to do is to include all the pages of the application. Somebody on this forum, had a checklist only for not including the blank pages.

Thanks, i did include all the pages

It’s been almost two weeks since my wife’s visa status changed to ‘issued.’ We were getting concerned, so I contacted the (outsourced) contractor company who handles visa logistics. A rather abrupt fellow who sounded Romanian told me that I should read all of the emails that were sent to me before calling them next time. I dug around a bit and found a couple different email addresses hidden in various FAQs, and sent off a few emails asking what was going on with the visa issuance. In what I’m _certain_ is coincidence, I received a tracking notice an hour after sending those emails (although another coincidence, the label print date was today). We receive her visa tomorrow!

Just got a checklist :( February 2nd scan date.

They need the Canadian visa for both myself and my spouse(we are UK/Irish citizens living in Canada). It is veru frustrating because none of the documents listed as required included this and I ran everything by the lawyer before sending them. He said we were not missing anything.

Is a checklist a guaranteed 8+ further weeks or do they sometimes process checklist documents faster? Does calling up and begging for a supervisor to review (esp when it is just one extra document per person) ever work? Very depressed by this.

yeah you can always call them, i saw people getting checklists and argued with them, got cc right away. you can probably either stated that on their website they didnt state to have to provide the canadian visas, or simply just ask to interview in London. good luck :)

After having the case complete, I got a cheklist. LUCKLY it says that I don't have to submit it to the NVC, but rather to just take it to the interview. They asked for the 2015 W-2 (which makes sense for them to not request me to send it to the NVC, since the W-2 is not a mandatory document to be sent).

I received the same request also 2015 W-2, Now just have to wait for schedule an Interview date.

What did you send in place of w2's? Just tax return? I was told it was mandatory but maybe it depends on consulate?

Received: 1/13/2017

Complete: 4/4/2017

Checklist to bring all our 2015 W2s and 1099s to the interview. I submitted IRS transcripts for past 3 years (all above limit), 2015 tax return, one W2 (with enough income), employment verification, etc. I must admit they got me on a technicality but at least the interview is on... Form I-864EZ instructions say:

"You must provide either an IRS transcript or a photocopy from your own records of your Federal individual income tax return for the most recent tax year. If you believe additional returns may help you to establish your ability to maintain sufficient income, you may submit transcripts or photocopies of your Federal individual income tax returns for the three most recent years.

...

If you provide a photocopy of your tax returns, you must include a copy of each and every Form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your returns. Do not include copies of these forms if you provide an IRS transcript of your returns rather than a photocopy unless you  led a joint tax return with your spouse."

Just to make sure I understood, you are the sole sponsor and if you had not submitted your tax return/W2 and had only submitted the tax transcripts, you would not have gotten a checklist?  if that's the case...that's just silly then.
