A little update from us again:

Scan Date: Jan 31st

Case Confirmed: April 10th

3 n/a's: April 11th

Interview email received (P4 Letter): April 14th (Dated April 13th)

Interview date: May 26th

Out of interest...does anyone know if its possible to move interview date forward - specifically at the US Embassy in London?

Congrats all recent CC's!!

You might be able to call them and check.  If someone cancels you can potentially get bumped up. Think someone had a 22 day case complete to interview recently for London. There's also more information in the first post for the case complete threads.

Good luck!

looking forward to your review for london. Heard it's very lax and straightforward. :)

Approved March 31st, case sent to NVC almost two weeks later (April 11th) and called just now, April 17th - still no case number 🙁

That's too much time for the case number to be assigned. Did you try calling the USCIS to check why NVC hasn't received the case yet?

We got approved on 04/07, and received an email last night saying they sent our case to the Department of State on 04/17. How long does it usually take to get a case number from this point?

mine took 5-6 working days after NVC received my case!

I received this bit of information from my senators office yesterday:

"Please note that the 11 week review period listed in the e-mail is now down to 8 weeks.  This would mean that your case should be completed by the first week of June 2017.   Our liaison at the NVC said that their staff is working overtime to try and get this processing time reduced."

Perhaps we will hear/see the 11 weeks drop down to 8 soon?!

That's insanely good news! Did you seek Senator's help to expedite your case?

I don't know if they can really expedite much, they may be able to put some eyes on your case. They can help once the 11(or8) weeks is up. Also it can be very helpful if you get a checklist that doesn't seem correct.

I'm just trying to chase this info up - called the embassy (use 02036086998 for when your husband wants to call - its not the same as the one listed online) to ask about it. The rep was a little useless - said "you do not have the option to do this - you should request to expedite". When I asked how others have managed it, he just kept reciting the same bit of into on expedite. Not sure if he was clueless or whether there is something I'm missing...

Right now we can only go by why the NVC tells us. Perhaps the NVC liaison knows its coming soon? ...or he might even be mistaken.

When I posted the message from my senators office , I meant to give future hope of reduced times. It's 11 weeks until they tell us directly its not IMO.

I just checked the CEAC site, and I can hardly believe my eyes!!! It's the magical 3rd N/A!!!

Scan date: Feb 1st

CC: April 18, 10 weeks 6 days

I want to thank everyone on the forum for the help and support. This site is such an amazing resource for people going through the immigration process, and we are so grateful.

I'll update later about our interview information, but for now it's time to celebrate by scheduling the medical check!!
