Hello,

My scan date is January 20th and today is the end of 11 weeks but I haven't heard anything.

I called an hour ago and rep told me they still have a few hours to work on so I have to wait. Really sick of waiting:(

Here is my question. How long does it usually take to get my expedition approved at the embassy stage? Because of my husband's medical condition, I want the interview date asap. And do you send the request of expedition to nvc or embassy?

You'll be hear back from NVC when they receive your expedite request but they just send to the embassy for a response so it depends on the embassy. Ours took 6 days to give a decision.

Email address is below. Make sure to put our case number in the subject heading and explain your situation in the email as well as evidence of his medical condition.

If your case gets completed before you hear back I would call the embassy when that happens as NVC may not deal with your case after that.

Hey guys,

Our iv package was delivered to nvc this Monday . The aoc package was delivered a week before that . The ds260 was filled last week. So technically we've sent in all the required stuff .  Yet there is no scan date showing for us. Is this normal ?

I thought 4, 5 working days was the average for this ?

Where can I track the scan date in case I'm at the wrong page ? I used the ceac status tracker page.

Thanks

You will not recieved a scan date until all items are received. Since you did not send all items together they will place them to the side until everything has arrived. Then they will scan which will take 3-4 days. You will have to give them a call

I did call nvc last night and was informed they've received both our packages and are reviewing it. I asked if the date our second package was received is our scan date. the lady said yes that is the date they're scanned into the system and are reviewed based on that date. I was told it can take up to 11 weeks.

I'm just praying we don't get a checklist after waiting another two or three months.

my wife and daughter have been waiting over there for me for months and it's painful to wait any longer. We're stuck in a hard place because we can risk paying for more plane tickets and then get a check list again for which the wife might have to fly back to the US again.

ugh

i just submitted the DS-261 agent form and it appears that i can proceed to pay my invoice fees, however the website says wait up to 3 weeks to submit payment.

thoughts?

You are only able to pay one at a time.  Once the agent form is complete in some cases it may take a day or two.  You will also be able to only pay one fee at a time.  Pay the AOS after its recieved with will say processing,  then paid.  You will then be able to complete the IV and then finally the DS260 visa application. Make sure you complete asap because your scan date is determine on the last item recieved.

I'm Jan 31st and got the same sort of response. No idea how long a review takes once it's in their hands but I hope it's not long.

The lady I spoke to was very nice about it though ... and it's not directly her fault so I was polite and used my pleases and thank yous. Hope they get to our files soon. I see a couple of early feb ones are done.

I've been told progressively:

"we have your files - Wait 4 weeks"

"wait 8 weeks"

"wait 11 weeks"

"pending review"

"up for review"

"being reviewed"

Ive been pretty relentless with calling as our 10 weeks is up on Tuesday. But I think there is a difference in what they're saying...just staying patient is boring at this point.

Does anyone know if *everyone* gets the three n/a anomaly..or is that just occasionally?
