Hey Yall, hope you are all well and in the arms of those you love!!!

You all have been a wealth of information for me in this difficult journey so thank you all.

But now I have an off topic question...

Where can I find information on work visas? I have looked on the guides page and it only tells me how to get permission to work once in America as a spouse etc..

But My guy has been offered a job and we don't know how to look into the procedures for that visa. We are at a stage in the process we can stop the K1 visa and do this so he can work right away, I just need direction.,....

So PLEASEEEEEEEEE someone guide me.

The thing is that it isn't a large company, it is an individual who ownes a construction company and he wants my guy to partner with him, the man said to find the application needed and the info and he would send a check off asap, so i am here searching the net for what I need, but coming up more confused and frusterated rather than informed.

This is something that the Employer would arrange, a H would not be a lot of use as you would have to wait until October probably, an L, inter company transfer would be best bet.

What has his prospective Employer proposed?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

My guy has helped him out from time to time since the guy is a friend of the family, and once he saw his work he said I want you to work for me as soon as you can get here and he offered him 1k a week to start, so I am confused, where to look for this individual to file to sponsor him to come over.

The short answer is that it will be quickest to continue with the K, eneter through JFK to get the EAD stamp.

Just in case I may have misjudged the work opportunity, if you post more stails, what it is, what qualifications are required, sort of operation he would be working for, then we could be more specific.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
