Nope. Still nothing. Same center. No updates

Good news here! We got an Approval Notice on the mail today. On the USCIS website, it still says Case Received. My NOA1 is April 18th (TSC).

does anyone know if they follow any order like first come first serve. i see here and may forum where people date is after me but they're getting approved. why is that since we're all applying for the same visa. it doesnt make sense or seem fair...

4/12/17 - NOA1 Sent to Nebraska

1/10/18 - NOA2

1/18/18 - Case Sent to Department of State

1/25/18 - NVC received case

3/30/18 - Case # and IIN assigned

3/30/18 - Paid AOS and IV fee

4/9/18 - AOS and IV fee Status Changed to Paid

4/9/18 - Submit DS 260 and uploaded AOS and IV package

4/16/18 - Case complete

5/7/18 - Received interview email 

6/4/18 - Interview @ 7am at ISL embassy - Approved :jest:

I asked the same question. Uscis representative told me each case is different. Blablabla.....

haha yeah i dont even call them anymore they're no help. seems like there is no transparency for such an important thing.

April 18, 2017 - Sent I-130 Package to Chicago Lockbox

April 20, 2017 - Chicago Lockbox receives package

April 24, 2017 - Receive email and text - case accepted, receipt # and transferred to Potomac (YSC)

April 28, 2017 - Receive NOA1 hardcopy from Potomac Service Center (Received Date: April 21, 2017, Priority Date: April 19 , 2017 and Notice Date: April 21, 2017)

May 2, 2017   - Finally able to track case on app (was not able to track until after a couple days after receiving the NOA1 hardcopy)

Oct 30, 2017 -  I-130 Approved

Nov 03, 2017 -  Case sent to Department of State (NVC)

Nov 03, 2017 - NOA2 received in the Mail

Nov 13, 2017 - NVC receives file

Nov 25, 2017 - NVC sends Case # and Invoice Number

Nov 26, 2017 - DS-261 (choose an agent) form sent to NVC

Nov 30, 2017 - Receive letter / instructions to pay fees

Dec 1, 2017  -  Affidavit of Support fee and IVF fee paid to NVC via online 

Dec 6, 2017 -   DS-260 submitted

Dec 8, 2017  -  Package delivered at NVC

Dec 12, 2017 - Scan date

Jan 13, 2018 - Case Complete

Feb 20, 2018 - Interview then administrative processing

April 3, 2018 - Second Interview and approved

April 10, 2018 - Pick up passport and visa

April 14, 2018 - Arrived in USA

yeah ours was received april 12 at nebraska and still case was received status lol.

 

my brother did same process 2 years ago at same center and took 5 months. 

4/12/17 - NOA1 Sent to Nebraska

Ya. And I just visited my husband. And I check it everyday and it still saying case was received on april 17th. I called 50 times. And the only answer is to wait. Those representatives have no clue about what is going on. It is wasting of time to call them

i was doing 2017 taxes and will use them for visa process. can someone tell me how u guys r planning to file if spouse isnt in us yet. u can do joint, separate and claim exemption for them or do separate without exemption. whats the easiest and fastest without having to get them an itin?
