I know how gut wrenching it can be when you have to leave your partner behind. My husband is in the States and I am in Australia. Im currently due to give birth to our first baby in two weeks and I'm constantly petrified that he won't make it here in time. I've only seen him really briefly twice during my pregnancy and its been such a tough ride. I just wanted to share my experience with you so don't feel alone.

Ina 😊

Hi Ina 😊 how's it going...any news on the baby front...? I hope all is well ?just thought I'd check on you :) and i hope you dont mind

Hello I recived NOA 2 on 10/30/17 it was approved on 10/27/17 by TSC. It has been passed the 30 days and i have heard nothing from NVC. I called today and they said they have not received my case. On the USCIS website it stills says case approved. IS anybody dealing with the same problem? How long did it take to hear from NVC

Ours was approved Oct 12. After weeks of calling, NVC still have not received our case, so I spoke to USCIS to make sure they sent out our case to NVC. I spoke to a Tier 2 officer and they sent our case to NVC on November 15th. NVC received our case on the 24th. Just got our NVC case number today.

Unfortunately Nebraska is really slow right now...but hopefully it will be less than 3 months. It seems they're at the end of February & even approving some early March petitions.

Did you also file an i130? April 12th was also my priority date but my case was at Potomac service center. I filed a K3 and i130 they closed my k3 and approved my i130 one week later My k3 was closed. Apparently k-3 visas are obsolete they don't approve those anymore or it's rare if K threes are ever.  and on the USCIS website it states that you have to file an i-130 first before filing the k-3/ I 129f. I understand your frustration

yeah I only filed i-130 and did it before the application change so also did g 325 a for both. I figured since im US citizen and doing for spouse then the visa they will give her is called k3. if thats not it, what is he visa called? cant be called i-130 visa...

The visa will be either CR-1 or IR-1 depending on how long you'll be married once your spouse arrives in the U.S. If you're married less than 2 years when they arrive with the visa then it will be CR-1.
