Congrats to all the approvals once again!  Literally praying for Texas to speed up... Turkey and American relations aren't looking too good right now. At this point, I can't even go visit my husband and he can't come to visit me.  I'm holding out for an approval soon...

It's really terrible! I'm in Turkey with my husband now, fortunately I have a residence permit & he already has a tourist visa to the U.S. But it's making me so nervous for when we visit the states in December. I'm really hoping this ends soon...and yes, lets go Texas!!

You should be getting it within next two weeks. I got it after 200 days, I have seen other members being approved after as many as 210 days so you are next!!

@truelove29 I just visited my husband in Turkey in August. I renewed my visa then and it's good for 6 months but from what I've been reading, there is no entry allowed by a US citizen regardless. We both worry a little that all of this might also affect our visa process. Hopefully it does not.

I don't think that's accurate. I read the statement saying that they are not giving any new visas to U.S. citizens...that if you already hold a valid visa you're fine. But I'll look into it more...where did you read that?

In most cases yes.  In my case,  I received the NOA2 by postal mail first, then I received the notification via email days later
