I just called to double check I didn't miss a NOA2 or RFE and the woman from USCIS was really nice and said no, still processing over in Texas :( Watching my NOA2 estimate climb from mid-August to the end of October has been a bummer.

03/17/2017: Married

04/07/2017: Sent I-130 to Chicago lockbox

04/13/2017: Received confirmation text

04/17/2017: Received hardcopy NOA1 (TSC)

That is my perception, but I have no data to back that up with.

I believed (and therefore I filed K3 too) that whichever gets there first will get me what I want.

If I was to build the process and would be the adjudicator, then when I get the i129f I would look whether there is and I130 too and then approve the I130 as the content of both filing is essentially the same.

Hello @slownomooo,

I also filed the I-129F (for a K3) just to give it a try, but since there is no recent data on VJ I am not able to estimate when could it be processed or if it would be processed before the I-130 which I'm still waiting. Could you please share with me your timeline with the I-129F? In the end, which NOA2 did you get? The one for the I-130 or the one for the I-129F?

DPK
