Hi everyone!

 

And congratulations  for all who get approved!

 

One question - Any approval from Nebraska? I see Photomac and Texas is almost 5-6 month and working fast.

 

But not Nebraska :-( any news? It feels like beeing forever

Unfortunately there's been no news from Nebraska. My PD is May 26 with Nebraska. I recommend reading through the Nebraska group as some members are trying to make the backlog and inefficiencies of the Nebraska Service Center known.

Feel free to check out the Nebraska filers thread. According to your estimated date you are looking at the middle to the end of Jan (another 3 1/2 months) to get approved.

 

There is a serious problem going on at the NSC. I encourage anyone who is stuck in NSC to write to the contacts posted in the Nebraska filers thread. This week will be 8 months since I've waited for an approval. NSC isn't even finished processing applications from Dec. Generally it's taking 9-10 months for a i130 to get approved at the NSC. If things don't start picking up I am afraid it is going to be even longer.

 

Vermont, Texas and Potomac are only taking 5-6 months.

Hi everyone! I've been following this thread forever and wanted to join in. Are you getting the noa2 in letter or does your case status update online? My priority date was April 24th at Potomac and haven't received anything yet other than noa1. And case status online is still the same😭

I have read that first they get a letter by mail and after the online status updates so check your mail often

I never received a updated status online for my NOA2.   I received the notification by regular mail.   Please create your timeline so that others can have a good idea of how fast Potomac is working.   Thx!

I received great news today.

I petitioned my mom I 130 back in april 3rd my PD

and today i received the approval notice.

next step is NVC

i spoke to the assistant of the lawyer and she said they will receive a invoice to pay the fees and then she has to apply for the waiver because she is in the US. 

to get a case number by NVC how long does it take.?

 

im currently waiting for my husbands approval his priority date is april 13th

It's kind of a bummer to see people with later PDs getting approvals, it makes you feel like maybe yours got lost. My husband is visiting so it feels less urgent but he has to go back and our PD is early April and Texas seems so chaotic right now. I thought Nebraska had gotten it together.
