Hello everyone!

 

I wanted to update you guys: So today I checked the USCIS login as I usually do (every 2 days with no hope), and magically my case number did work this time! My wife and I think it may be related to the fact that I had to update my current address, So probably we forced them in some way to input that info on their system. 

Either way I thought you could use the advice.

Hi Everyone. 

I'm with Nebraska too. Mu PD is April 19th. My husband just called USCIS today and as of todat they are working on cases dated 12/06/2016. 

I'm impressed on the delay.

Hi! Mine is also in Nebraska from April 17 and according to VJ timeline we should hear something only at the beggining of January :-(

We are in a slowest Visa Center in all world :-(

When I read that cases for February and March 2017 was already approved in Texas Visa center want to cry.  Seems like it will be a huge long waite

Thank you for the support everyone ! Very hopeful petition will be approved on time ... as the days get near estimated time of approval the wait is getting harder and harder ...im praying !

Hello, I have been watching this thread from a distance for a while so decided to create an account. Before I wouldn't check often as it was still close to the date but now that its towards the end of september I'm a lot more anxious. I too am with Nebraska, and seeing these comments worries me as I planned to be going to america by January, but now this doesn't seem so likely. My dad is applying for my visa on my behalf so I am child under 21 category (turning 21 next march). My PD is April 20th, just thought I'd join in.

Welcome!! Yes, this process is long & frustrating. My husband & I thought the same, that we'd be all done with it by January, but quickly realized that's not gonna happen. Once you accept it, the wait gets easier. But this part of the process (waiting for NOA2) is the longest part. Once you get that, at least the process goes a little quicker. Good luck to you...this site is great, use it to your advantage to get ready for the next phase!

Thank you  Yes there was so little information to begin with so my dad was over optimistic and thought it would be done by the end of summer. I'm only now learning the little extras such as the wait for your interview after the NOA2 and some additional expenses I didn't know. I've only gone and gotten myself a job for christmas so apart from that in a couple months, I have nothing else to think of!
