Timeline

We're April filers.......we're a special bunch!!  We all WILL be approved from the USCIS processing to the interview! 

 

It's really nice to be a part of a group of so many encouraging people:)

So like I said earlier I filed a k-3 visa along with my i-130 petition. and as mentioned earlier my PD for potomac is april 3rd and I haven't gotten an approval yet.

 

HOWEVER, today I got a update from my k-3 petition and it stated the following

 

On September 19, 2017, we closed your Form I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), Receipt Number YSC1790202089, because the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. 
 

 

Does that mean my i-130 finally got approved just now???? Super nervous!

Yes, usually that's what that means!! I would call USCIS & see if they can tell you!!

4-24-17 I-130 sent to Chicago Lock Box

4-25-17 NOA 1 & sent to TSC

11-15-17 NOA 2

12-26-17 Case sent to Dept. of State

1-08-18 NVC Received case

3-12-18 Case Number Assigned / AOS & IV Fees Paid

3-14-18 DS-260 Completed

3-16-18 Uploaded Civil Documents

3-21-18 Uploaded AOS Documents 

3-26-18 Checklist to reupload docs

3-29-18 Finished uploading docs

4-4-18 Case Complete

4-13-18 Received interview email

5-18-18 Interview date 

5-24-18 Visa Issued

to me sounds like your I130 got approved!! Call USCI and let us know

wouldn't say that yet. still waiting on the tier 2 officer to call me back. First person wanted to transfer my 129f case because it was closed and the receipt said my i 130 wasn't approved yet. Hopefully I'll get a good officer

JUST GOT BACK WE GOT APPROVED!!!!!!!!! 

 

APPROVED: sept 19th

 

Got married Feb 19th and I was so worried it would get RFE because they would want more evidence

 

SOOO many tears of relief right now!

We also did the same procedure, filed for CR1 then K3.  Hopefully we'll get the same result as yours. Also anxious because we just got married May 5th and filed May 22nd. Keeping our fingers crossed :)
