My interview is end of May and since interview appointment (March 30) the status haven't changed. Others here say it takes only a day or two. Does this mean I should worry?  May be they transfer cases to local embassies more close to interview dates (my is almost 2 month from now).

I just checked my status and it is the same as yours,  At NVC. Since our interview date is two days before you I am thinking the same thing. They send it maybe at the end of April or something.  I am not going to worry until then if it has not changed.

Called up NVC yesterday and today and they're giving me the same answer, no appointment of interview yet and they said it depends on the embassy abroad of the next availability. Hoping we all get a good news this coming week.

OMG what !! They told me they are still scheduling until mid next week. That's crazy.

I am going to update my timeline now and leave a review for the interview!

Just as an update my wife called today and got her medical exam scheduled for April 27th.

So time line has been 

3/13/17 CC

3/29/17 Interview date scheduled 

3/31/17 relieved P4 email letter

4/27/17 medical exam

5/23/17 interview date

FYI:   Review your visa stamp well for any errors in spelling or info. Also, on your visa you will most probably notice that your "IMMIGRANT VISA IV CASE NUMBER" will have an extra "01" or "02" at the end. For example, my NVC case number is TKY2016XXXXXX01 instead of the usual TKY2016XXXXXX. Do not panic as this is normal. Just some insider code they have or something and not a typo error.

I called about 25 mins ago, I was told no interview scheduled for my husband yet.  CC March 7. Feeling really down about it.

I am sorry. I can't believe they haven't scheduled you yet. Case was completed March 7th!! Why didn't they schedule you last week ? Is Egypt consulate pretty busy ?

Same !!! I have not received that email either. I am going to call in a couple hours and update everyone. They make us wait for everything. How hard it is to schedule interviews I am so impatient.

@Nutella Thanks ukhti. I truly appreciate it. I received your email and replied back  Yes you're right, insha'Allah any day now.  You received the CC email on the 14th of March, so exactly one week. Insha'Allah you will receive your so soon.

@Zebracakex Thank you dear. Insha'Allah we all will get an interview date scheduled so soon. To be honest I'm not quite sure what the hold up is. Looking back at other members who were from Cairo, it did not seem to take nearly as long. I do know we have two holidays coming up here in Egypt (Coptic Easter and Sinai Liberation Day - both governmental holidays), so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. But I'd think that at least they could begin scheduling for May a bit faster. Allahu Alim.
