Finally I get to join you all here.  Case Complete 14th April, 10 weeks 4 days from my scan date 31st jan.

Now to wait for the embassy to do their thing and give me an interview date.  I have to drive 2hrs plus traffic to get my medical, drop off documents to the embassy ours requires originals one week prior to the interview), then the interview date. I see several road trips in my future but so glad its getting closer.

My husband flies back to the USA in 3 weeks so hopefully I won't have to wait too long to follow with our baby girl

@Thesmiths2016 Congratulations!!! Glad to see you here :)

@Nameer My CC was March-07 and I still have not been scheduled an interview. Don't worry, all embassy's/consulates schedule at different times. Not all are as fast and quick to schedule as others. Hopefully soon you will be given an interview date. Congratulations on your CC and so soon you'll have your interview date! :)

Do you know if it ALWAYS takes 2 weeks for medical results, or does it vary by country?

I think it may depends on different country or hospital

when I did my medical exam, they told me it takes two weeks exactly, and no way to expedite

(Mackay Memorial Hospital, Taiwan)

so better u call the hospital to confirm!

I know of a case where the medical only took 2 days, but that was for Argentina. The person got their vaccinations before going to the medical, which helped to speed things up.

Must be  different in your country  because in Mexico we get the medical package same day

Yes, every country is different. In Argentina you have three appointments: a medical consultation, a lab appointment, and a medical exam.

Hello Everyone,

This is my first time posting, but i have been following this threat for a few days and I can only thank you for all the information and support you guys provide,

I recently called the NVC for any case status. They told me that it was delivered to the department for review and they don't have a time frame in that department. What does this mean? Is this normal? Is this a supervisory review?  My scan date is February 3, 2017.
