Finally I get to join you all here.  Case Complete 14th April, 10 weeks 4 days from my scan date 31st jan.

Now to wait for the embassy to do their thing and give me an interview date.  I have to drive 2hrs plus traffic to get my medical, drop off documents to the embassy ours requires originals one week prior to the interview), then the interview date. I see several road trips in my future but so glad its getting closer.

My husband flies back to the USA in 3 weeks so hopefully I won't have to wait too long to follow with our baby girl

Am so hapoy to welcome you here :) hoping you'd be given interview if not tonight, on Monday 😉😉😍😍 wishing and praying for you and your baby girl a smooth journey for the rest of things to be done :)

Well it just takes little time ,, now that we all have made it this far ,, it's just little journey left compared how far we all had to go ,,, I am sure  that this is one of the hardest things we all have had to do and the patience we had to have putting are life's in someone else's hands ,. Hoping and praying everything is a green lite ,. Basically from here we are at the end of the tunnel ,,, well I keep telling myself that LOL 🙄😜👌

I just wanted to check in and say that it is wonderful to see so many of you getting your interview dates!  I know there was a lull in the scheduling for a lot of you and the anxiety of if you would get your dates for next month and then they started to come in and the joy of it for those of you.  Congratulations to all and good luck in your interviews!  And Happy Easter to all you who celebrate it.  Spring has finally come to my little part of the US.

Hi all,

A question to the other VJ members with an interview date: has your case status changed from "at NVC" to "in transit" and if so how long after the interview assigment?

Do we also know how long it takes for the embassy to receive our file from the NVC?

I asked NVC how long it takes for the embassy to receive my file .... they said its hard to say as each is different but many get it within a week. I also know for my embassy that they receive it within a week, from others who have been ahead of me in this process.  I guess NVC sends it within a few days, and its up to the embassy and their incoming mail how fast they "receipt it"

ha I have same feeling

before my case completed, I almost gave up to call NVC (only call once a week), and felt stuck in my own country without my husband

then one day I saw my 3N/A, then the next day I got my interview date, then I hurried to get a medical exam then interview, piles of things happened within a month!

and I will be in the US with my husband in the end of May!! the process is a mess, but glad is almost finish!!
