Hey! Congratulations on your expatiate approval and soon interview date!

What was the reason for expedite process?

Also I quite didn't get how do you know that is approved on June 1st? ("Expedite for interview approved 6/1/2017")

Sorry , I meant April 6 (4/6/2017).

Reason for expedite request is pregnancy and financial hardship.

I called NVC a half hour ago and the rep sure was in a hurry to get me off the phone. They were definitely not a morning person lol. No interview yet. They told me "it hasnt even been a week yet" referring to our CC, and they said they "have no time frame to give me" in the snootiest way imaginable.

Will call again tomorrow. My data for Buenos Aires suggests we are not out of the running for May and that our interview could still be assigned any day this week.

Hey everybody. I know I've been a bit quiet lately, but I've been busy and a lot has just been happening. I hope you are all well.

I called NVC yesterday, although I was going to wait until today and call. Nonetheless, I called and was told no interview date scheduled.

I decided last night to send an expedite request based on safety reasons, as the situation here isn't good and now we're under Marshal Law once again.

I just hope they accept the request.

Congratulations to everyone who recently got scheduled, and those who've had a successful interview. All of you who are waiting for an interview appointment are all in my prayers. I feel for all of you and understand how stressful and tiring it is to keep waiting for an interview date. Hang in there, we're all almost done with this mess! So soon we will all be reunited with our families.(L)

Yeah I've gotten many snootie reps too, but then you will get those special ones that actually made it a pleasant call. Hopefully you will get an interview date soon.

Thanks! I have worked in a couple of call centers before, so I know how it is. It really is a game in customer service: the reps know a lot more than they are willing to reveal, and the trick is to get through to a helpful one who is willing to provide details rather than to one who just give the standard responses to get you off the line. Yesterday I was told they could easily schedule into the third week, today I was told it has only been a week and they have no time frame. Just have to keep playing their game and call in again tomorrow.

Excellent news. I was told yesterday they could be scheduling into the third week, so it is good to hear confirmation from someone else.

Makes sense, because they stopped scheduling April interview dates last month on March 20th for that entire week, and then began scheduling May mid week during the last week of March.

Thanks)) Congrats on your upcoming baby!

We also tried to expedite the process: our 1,5 year old son needs a major surgery ASAP, here in Russia they cut open, and in the USA it is a minimum invasive surgery, BUT for Russian embassy it was not enough reason. So for now we decided to wait (under doctor's supervision) because with possible complications of the surgery we could not fit into 6 months visa window... All this drag me into severe depression, and every day checking my email and calling NVC just killing me.....
