hi

i am scheduled for an interview at US embassy Islamabad next month. However, during this visa process I gave birth to a child who is 2 months old now. How will he accompany me? he is not eligible for CRBA. 

Some people i inquired to told me that they will give any visa, be it immigrant or non immigrant to the newborn on humanitarian basis. Any personal experiences on this issue will be very helpful.

Your child may be a USC. You will

need to check the requirements for citizenship for children born overseas. There is a physical presence requirement for the USC parent to be able to pass on citizenship to the child.

So CRBA is not possible and the child will require a visa.
