Hi everyone,

I filed a joint i-751 petition with my wife back in December 2016 and now we are in divorce proceedings, I will be moving out the house soon. I am thinking to send USCIS this letter asking them to treat my petition with a divorce waiver. Please check my letter below and let me know if I need to change anything or it's good. Thank you.

Dear sir or madam,

I have filed a joint i-751 petition with my US citizen wife, ***** *********  in December 2016. I received  one year extension letter and already went to biometric appointment. Unfortunately, a divorce has been filed and now we are in divorce proceedings. I will be moving out of our house next week, my new address will be (Street name, city, state, zipcode) I will change my address on USCIS website as well. Once I have my final divorce decree I will mail USCIS a copy. I would like that my i-751 petition to be treated with a divorce waiver.

Thank you,

Any thoughts? Do I attach a copy of the one year extension letter or the biometric appointment letter?
