once ur status change to interview scheduled u will receive a letter within days

Still celebrating. Woohoo! Journey completed. You can color my timeline in red. Ceremony lasted 45 mins, we were only 40 new citizens and everything went soooo smooth. Thank you guys, from the bottom

@Hagrid @Angel19 I am a SF filer.  Send N-400 on 2/28/17 and have Oath on 11/9/17, that’s 254 days. I think you are still well within normal processing times.  Just be patient, your day will come.

Ouch it is so slow, i have been told in line for interview for couple months. But now they update 🙄😥. Hope I will hear some good thing soon 🙏

I know the feeling, I was in line exactly 5 months

from August 18-January 18, my status changed to interview scheduled and received the letter monday for interview next month!

03/01/2018- Sent Petition to USCIS via USPS

03/05/2018- USCIS received petition PRIORITY DATE

03/08/2018- NOA1

08/31/2018- USCIS Approved Petition

09/03/2018- NOA2

09/10/2018- Case sent to NVC

09/18/2018- NVC received case

10/12/2018- received email from NVC with the case # ( CEAC processing )

10/16/2018- Paid Fees AOS and Visa Fee

10/19/2018- Submitted Documents. Civil Documents/AOS and completed DS260

10/30/2018- received email from NVC. checked my CEAC acct rejected AOS, Police Clearance and Birth Certificate

Reason: some part is cut off and not clear. Resubmitted the same day.

11/08/2018- Received an email from NVC that all the required documents are approved. Its documentarily qualified and they will schedule the interview.

11/19/2018- Received an email that interview is scheduled for December 17

11/22/2018- First day medical

11/23/2018- Second day medical saw abnormality on the xray need to go back for sputum culture.

1/31/2019-Back to St.Lukes. Medical approved. Scheduled Interview 

2/08/2019-INTERVIEW PASSED

2/13/2019-Visa Issued Status

Do make an INFOPASS appointment asap. You should`ve been in line for interview like 4 months ago at least.

Anybody have any idea of when you are put in line for oath ceremony after the interview in New York?

I passed the interview 16th January and unlike many others my status was not updated since then.

 

What`s the criteria when putting people in line? I have already waited 10 months for an interview and Field office processing times indicate that they are currently working on 14th April cases.

Can only imagine the great sense of pride and relief you must have after such a long journey. 

Was your ceremony admin or judicial? Lots of people? 

Nothing yet for Philly May filers. Hopefully soon.

Don't worry, if your case is not weird or suspicious, they will not call your spouse. I filed under the 3 year rule, and my husband drove me to the interview. When he finally found parking to park the car and came into the building, I was already done with my interview. The spouse is not allowed in the interview room anyway, they wait in the waiting area (lobby).

Just got off the phone with an immigration officer saying my case went to supervisor review the next day of interview even though it was approved it is a standard process. They alao said that since it is in the final stages they cant put an expedite request to it and all i have to do is wait till they put me in line for oath ceremony. It is so weird that NYC holds oath ceremonies every friday and most people get scheduled for oath in a couple of days while some of them waits for weeks and months.

 

It has already been almost 10 months since I sent my application but here I am waiting 2 weeks after interview for an oath ceremony update.
