@Hagrid @Angel19 I am a SF filer.  Send N-400 on 2/28/17 and have Oath on 11/9/17, that’s 254 days. I think you are still well within normal processing times.  Just be patient, your day will come.

11/28/2016: Eligible for early-filling.

Day 00 - 12/23/2016: Sent N-400 + I-942 to Phoenix, AZ lockbox via USPS.

Day 03 - 12/26/2016: N-400 application marked delivered.

Day 25 - 01/17/2017: Sent email to support regards to application.

Day 26 - 01/18/2017: N-400 rejected because incorrect payment amount.

Day 32 - 01/24/2017: N-400 + I-942 resent.

Day 34 - 01/26/2017: N-400 application marked delivered.

Day 49 - 02/10/2017: N-400 rejected again because incorrect payment amount.

Day 52 - 02/13/2017: Email form USCIS support responded package was rejected in error (!?) for the first and second time submissions, they requested 3rd resubmission + tracking number in order to apply my earliest priority date. 

Day 52 - 02/13/2017: N-400 + I-942 resent on the same day, also sent a response to Lockbox to provide information to USCIS.

Day 54 (Day 0) - 02/15/2017: N-400 application marked delivered.

Day 62 (Day 8) - 02/23/2017: E-notification, E-mail from USCIS, E-mail from Support announced Resubmission was accepted.

Day 66 (Day 12)- 02/27/2017: Notice of Acceptance as Fees Waiver Approval received. (All fees were waived instead of reduced by half as supposed by filing form I-942)

Day 69 (Day 15) - 03/02/2017: Online Status Update: Fingerprint Appointment was scheduled. 

Day 70  (Day 16) - 03/03/2017: Fingerprint Appointment Letter received. Biometric will be on 3/15/17. 

Day 70  (Day 16) - 03/03/2017: Early Walked-In for Biometric at 3:45 PM.

Day 87 (Day 33) - 03/20/2017: Online Status Update: Case was placed in line for interview. 

Day 234 (Day 180) - 08/14/2017: Online Status Update: Interview has been scheduled.

My online status has just changed to 'Oath Ceremony will be scheduled' I suspect it means I am waiting for a date to be scheduled,  then it should update against when an appointment letter has been sent out. Any idea how long this part of the process takes? A few weeks or months?

 

Any info from April filers who have already completed this process would be a real help.

For a friend here in utah, it took 6 weeks. For a relative in new york, it took 1 week. 

AOS for parent Journey 

 

04/12/2021 → Filed I-130 online for parent (easier and didn't have AOS docs ready)

04/13/2021 → I-130 NOA1 available online

04/19/2021 → I-130 NOA1 Mail 

05/03/2021 → Sent through Fedex I-485 (with I-840 and sealed I-693 and I-130 NOA1 copy) I-765 I-131

05/06/2021 → Delivered to USCIS with signature confirmation.

05/25/2021 → Fingerprint Fee Was Received
05/26/2021 → Got text messages for I-485, I-765 and I-131 with receipt numbers.

05/27/2021 → Check cashed.

06/02/2021 → 3 NOAs for I-485, I-765 and I-131 arrived in the mail.

06/30/2021 → I485 online status update "Request for Initial Evidence"

Finally I got my interview letter (for Dec 20th), it took sometime though, which got me worried. Especially with the holiday shipping season. Thanks for all the input.

 

Does anybody know, if things go well in the interview, the Oath ceremony happens on the same day in Newark, NJ office?

yes newark and mt laurel new jersey conduct same day oath if no name changes and if everything clear...

i filed in september long wait ahead of me.....

my friend filed earlier this year i think march 

it was 3-4 month for him.

i filled late september, still nothing... my case still in case received, called few time no luck in getting l2. 

im just gonna wait and see

you estimate based on what?

i did not see a lot of people from newark office on VJ.... so i cant estimate anything... all i know is it all depends on biometric and the work load of the newark office.
