I flied form N-400 in April 2017 and I have been "inline for an interview" since June 12th.  It as been over 200 days now. Should I file an enquiry online  with USCIS or should I continue waiting? Any advice please?

@Hagrid @Angel19 I am a SF filer.  Send N-400 on 2/28/17 and have Oath on 11/9/17, that’s 254 days. I think you are still well within normal processing times.  Just be patient, your day will come.

Filed in late march. Inline for interview as of May 1st. We are within normal processing times. 
When checking the https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do it says that as of Aug 31st they were processing cases of Nov 14th 2016 for my local uscis office. 
I'm expecting to get the interview letter in December, hopefully!

AOS for parent Journey 

 

04/12/2021 → Filed I-130 online for parent (easier and didn't have AOS docs ready)

04/13/2021 → I-130 NOA1 available online

04/19/2021 → I-130 NOA1 Mail 

05/03/2021 → Sent through Fedex I-485 (with I-840 and sealed I-693 and I-130 NOA1 copy) I-765 I-131

05/06/2021 → Delivered to USCIS with signature confirmation.

05/25/2021 → Fingerprint Fee Was Received
05/26/2021 → Got text messages for I-485, I-765 and I-131 with receipt numbers.

05/27/2021 → Check cashed.

06/02/2021 → 3 NOAs for I-485, I-765 and I-131 arrived in the mail.

06/30/2021 → I485 online status update "Request for Initial Evidence"

07/06/2021 → RFIE letter arrived in the mail (I864 with 2020 tax return and w2s, 1090s)

07/23/2021 → Sent RFIE response through Fedex.

07/27/2021 → RFIE Response Delivered to USCIS with signature confirmation.

07/28/2021 → Status update RFIE response received. Working on case again. 

08/30/2021→Biometrics notice (no online case status update)

09/07/2021→ Biometrics letter arrived in the mail

09/22/2021 → Biometrics appointment completed. Online status updated 3 hours later to "Fingerprints Were Taken".

09/23/2021 → I-485 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

10/22/2021 → I-130 - Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS

11/30/2021 → I-765 - Case approved.

12/01/2021 → I-131 - Case approved.

12/08/2021 → I-765 - Combo Card delivered.

01/03/2022 → SS Card delivered! (From Combo card application)

01/03/2022 → SS Card delivered! (From Combo card application)

03/02/2022 → Interview scheduled. Notice coming in the mail soon.

03/17/2022 → I-130 Approved! Noa in the mail two days later.

03/31/2022 → Interview day and I-485 Card produced by the time we were leaving.
04/01/2022 → Case approved

04/04/2022 → NOA Case Approved arrived in the mail.
04/07/2022 → Parent's Green card in hand!

Hi all!

 

Adding my data to the list.

 

I'm too in line for interview at the San Francisco office since May 15.

I've been tracking other people progress at the SF office and it looks like, on average, things slowed down a bit.

 

I'd be curious to know if EandJ (in line since May 2) have heard anything since.

I've been in line since May 30th. All the Baltimore applicants from the march thread are already citizens. I've been also following trackitt and there are not reported interviews in Baltimore for April applicants and latter.  Anyway I'm still in the normal processing time.

Still in line after submitting an inquiry last month and called them twice. They will tell you its still on normal processing time. But we’re not anymore. If its still in normal processing time I shouldve been scheduled for interview now.. yes youre right I think theyre slowing down in processing our application. 185 days I’ve been inline thats 6months being inline and 7 months from my priority date which is 3/31/2017. January, February and March SF filers took 8 months to finish this journey. I hope we get our interview schedule soon.

10/12/2018- received email from NVC with the case # ( CEAC processing )

10/16/2018- Paid Fees AOS and Visa Fee

10/19/2018- Submitted Documents. Civil Documents/AOS and completed DS260

10/30/2018- received email from NVC. checked my CEAC acct rejected AOS, Police Clearance and Birth Certificate

Reason: some part is cut off and not clear. Resubmitted the same day.

11/08/2018- Received an email from NVC that all the required documents are approved. Its documentarily qualified and they will schedule the interview.

Still in line after submitting an inquiry last month and called them twice. They will tell you its still on normal processing time. But we’re not anymore. If its still in normal processing time I shouldve been scheduled for interview now.. yes youre right I think theyre slowing down in processing our application. 185 days I’ve been inline thats 6months being inline and 7 months from my priority date which is 3/31/2017. January, February and March SF filers took 8 months to finish this journey. I hope we get our interview schedule soon. 

You should hear something very soon.  It took me exactly 254 days from mailing N-400 (2/28/17) to Oath (11/9/17) in SF.

10/16/2018- Paid Fees AOS and Visa Fee

10/19/2018- Submitted Documents. Civil Documents/AOS and completed DS260

10/30/2018- received email from NVC. checked my CEAC acct rejected AOS, Police Clearance and Birth Certificate

Reason: some part is cut off and not clear. Resubmitted the same day.

11/08/2018- Received an email from NVC that all the required documents are approved. Its documentarily qualified and they will schedule the interview.

11/19/2018- Received an email that interview is scheduled for December 17

Progress is long and tired. Good luck to all filers, especially our SF fellows! 

Now I am waiting for my passport. If you want to apply for passport on the day of your Oath, you might apply at this Post Office:

1675 7TH STREET OAKLAND CA 94615

This Post Office only accepts Walk-in, and there is no line when I applied. It took me approximately 15 mins. It nears to West Oakland Bart !! Yay!!! So convenient right? Taking an Uber or Bart works too. 

However, remember to have Copy of your ID (If you forgot, they would charge you 1.15 per copy)

N-400 Naturalization Journey SAN FRANCISCO FIELD OFFICE

Total processing time from last successful submission to Oath Ceremony: 253 days (8 months and 11 days)

02/26/2012: Arrived SF airport. 

11/28/2016: Eligible for early-filling.

Day 00 - 12/23/2016: Sent N-400 + I-942 to Phoenix, AZ lockbox via USPS.

Day 03 - 12/26/2016: N-400 application marked delivered.

Day 25 - 01/17/2017: Sent email to support regards to application.

Day 26 - 01/18/2017: N-400 rejected because incorrect payment amount.

Day 32 - 01/24/2017: N-400 + I-942 resent.

Day 34 - 01/26/2017: N-400 application marked delivered.

Day 49 - 02/10/2017: N-400 rejected again because incorrect payment amount.

Day 52 - 02/13/2017: Email form USCIS support responded package was rejected in error (!?) for the first and second time submissions, they requested 3rd resubmission + tracking number in order to apply my earliest priority date. 

Day 52 - 02/13/2017: N-400 + I-942 resent on the same day, also sent a response to Lockbox to provide information to USCIS.

Day 54 (Day 0) - 02/15/2017: N-400 application marked delivered.

Day 62 (Day 8) - 02/23/2017: E-notification, E-mail from USCIS, E-mail from Support announced Resubmission was accepted.

Day 66 (Day 12)- 02/27/2017: Notice of Acceptance as Fees Waiver Approval received. (All fees were waived instead of reduced by half as supposed by filing form I-942)

Day 69 (Day 15) - 03/02/2017: Online Status Update: Fingerprint Appointment was scheduled. 

Day 70  (Day 16) - 03/03/2017: Fingerprint Appointment Letter received. Biometric will be on 3/15/17. 

Day 70  (Day 16) - 03/03/2017: Early Walked-In for Biometric at 3:45 PM.

Day 87 (Day 33) - 03/20/2017: Online Status Update: Case was placed in line for interview. 

Day 234 (Day 180) - 08/14/2017: Online Status Update: Interview has been scheduled.

Day 239 (Day 185) - 08/19/2017: Interview Letter received.

Day 269 (Day 215) - 09/18/2017: Interview 2:30 PM at USCIS SF Field Office. Recommended For Approval. 

Day 280 (Day 226) - 09/29/2017: Oath Ceremony Letter received. N400 is approved.

Day 291 (Day 237) - 10/10/2017: Last Online Status Update: Oath Letter was mailed. Too late!

Day 307 (Day 253) - 10/26/2017: Oath Ceremony in Oakland, CA. Citizenship granted.

Day 307 (Day 253) - 10/26/2017: Passport applied.

Day 321 (Day 267) - 11/09/2017: Passport Booklet received.

No, I'm sorry! I wish. I haven't noticed any movement on VJ from the Seattle office. A coworker had an interview back in May for hers and she applied in October. Her husband applied at the same time but was interviewed in April. Hopefully you hear something soon - it's been a while!
