so I have a question at your interview did they ask you all the NO/Yes questions or just a few selected once ?

hi lona yes i tried couples times to post on here but wont let me cuz commercial website like wallmart gift card any way yes my oath is on 30th and yes he asked me during the interview all questions no/yes hopefully u doing well tmw and let me know good luck.

We Just got home the interview was great the officer was so down to earth and easy going it made the process go very smooth , whole thing took about 20 min ,

he asked a few personal questions , joked a little then went to the test 

1, What is an amendment

2. what does the President's cabinet do 

3.Why did the colonists fight the british  

4.How many justices are on the supreme court 

5.Name one branch or part of the government 

6.if both the president and vice president can no longer serve , who becomes president 

 

the reading was 

When is Columbus day 

writing was,

Columbus day is in October 

asked the yes/no questions 

he said congratulations  and told me the oath will be sept 14th and gave me the letter to appear for the oath ( I will not get another letter in mail ) 

 

PS : I got a question , on the Oath letter it ask to bring green card  and any other documents USCIS  issued you ,

other then the green card what kinda documents  are they looking for ? or is it just the green card and my passports ?

Congratulation 🎉🎊. Did you apply base on 3 years marriage? Did the IO ask for any supporting documentations? And about employment history or time ouside us?

I applied based on 5 years been a resident since 2008 , No I didnt have to show any documents , wich surprised me because I had a full BIG Binder ,

he saw the binder said no thats fine I  just need your green card and passport , maybe my binder scared  him , lol

I'll probably be the same. I actually hope to get the same officer I had for my gc interview 3 years ago. But I assume those are small chances. I really do hope to get a good officer.

I hope you get a good officer too ,

but the most important thing you can do is be confident and  know you will pass as long as you know that ,

no matter how the officer will be your going to pass , so keep your head up and tell your self  " I will ace it , and walk with pride ) 

oh and no I didnt go alone my husband went with me but he had to wait outside during the interview 

so good luck for wed and keep your head up high
