Handy! Thanks  When you go for the fp appt, they usually give you a study guide with the questions, if they don't - just ask for it. I think I am going to download the flashcards from their website, that would be easier for me.

Audio works better for me. I downloaded every single audio file (https://www.uscis.gov/citizenship/learners/study-test/study-materials-civics-test/100-civics-questions-and-answers-mp3-audio-english-version) and then converted them to a single mp3 track.

 

Most of the answers I know of the top of my head but there are some that's new to me. I didn't do American History but I watch a lot of news.

I'm was thinking of doing that as well. But I'm not gonna start studying until I get the interview date letter. I figured it'll be a month between letter and the actual interview and that should give me enough time to study the 100 questions. My case is a bit different since I am still waiting on my ROC approval and they don't seem to wanna work on my case. I know they won't touch my N400 until they approve my I751, so I might be waiting 6months+ and this just infuriates me since I know Honolulu office is pretty fast with N400.

Sorry, just venting a bit - I am really fed up with them.

Hey guys, need some help. I submitted my wife's N-400 about 2 weeks ago and just got it back in the mail and they cited 2 reasons. 1 was for an incorrect payment amount (oops) and the 2nd reason is what I need help with. It reads:

"The application/petition was filed on the an outdated version of this form. Please resubmit your application/petition on the current version of this form with thh appropriate fees to the address listed on the bottom of the page."

 

So the, G1145 has expired (9/30/2016) but according to the USCIS website, it's the most up to date version and should be accepted. 

The N-400 form we submitted has an expiration date of 3/31/2019 and as far as I can tell, is the most up to date version of the form. 

 

Is the part about the expired forms just a generic response to the G1145? Should I worry about it or just resubmit the package with the correct fee?

G-1145 is fine, I submitted that one as there's no new one.

 

For the N400, if the form you submitted has the OBM no. 1615-0052, then that's the one! Just submit it with the correct fee amount:

$640, add the $85 biometric fee for a total of $725. So $725 total (one single check for this total). It increased last December.

Thanks for your help! My N-400 has a different OMB number (I also called USCIS and they explained that). I'm pretty annoyed that you can have an outdated version of a form with a valid expiration date. But such is life!
