i got a text and email this friday, Apr 21 on my application.this is what i received :

 

Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number NBC*00*******. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.

 

This confirmation provides notification of the date USCIS received your case.  This notice does NOT grant any immigration status or benefit. You MAY NOT present this notice as evidence that you have been granted any immigration status or benefit. Further, this notice does NOT constitute evidence that your case remains pending with USCIS. The current status of your case must be verified with USCIS.

 

PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE

@Hagrid @Angel19 I am a SF filer.  Send N-400 on 2/28/17 and have Oath on 11/9/17, that’s 254 days. I think you are still well within normal processing times.  Just be patient, your day will come.

That's interesting. Is there another way to sign up for alerts besides using your receipt number? I thought they only started alerts on cases after the first NOA has been sent. 

Please share the secrete.:D

the only thing i could possibly think of is that i included the form G-1145 which is a e-notification for receiving my application after that i think i need my receipt # for any updates on the application..:D

Got my fingerprint appointment. Two weeks after I received the finger print message (last Monday). The letter with the date came this Friday, 5 days after the message.

I have a question and would appreciate if any of you can answer.

 

i was 26 years old at the time i came to usa. therefore i didnt have to register for Select Service System and also didnt include Selective Service System Memorandum for Registrant with my N-400 PACKAGE.

 

was i right?

You're right!

You only need to provide proof of registration if you were required to register or provide a letter from the Selective Service Administration if you were required to register but didn't register. You weren't required to register so you're good.

Hi All! I am trying to prepare to apply for citizenship in early June. Just so I can get an idea of how long the N400 process will take, what is the average wait time now? I know for Removal of Conditions, CSC has been experiencing a massive delay. I'm wondering if that's the case for N400 as well? I reside in California and will file at the Phoenix, AZ lock box. My local field office is Santa Ana, CA.

7/18/2016 (Day 28) - Biometrics appointment done at Santa Ana ASC

2/28/2017 (Day 254) - Spouse received call from immigration officer verifying if we still lived together at our current address. He ended the conversation by saying we our approved and no need for interview

3/3/2017 (Day 257) - Received approval letter in the mail! 

3/13/2017 (Day 267) - Online status updated - new card being produced

3/16/2017 (Day 270) - Online status updated - new card was mailed to me

3/20/2017 (Day 274) - 10 year green card on hand!!

2/28/2018 - Naturalization interview - recommended for approval! :)

It can take anything from 2 to 6 months. Some lucky ones get an interview in less than 2 months. Most people as I have noticed, have waited at least 6 months. Some others more than 7 months and still counting.

04/12/2021 → Filed I-130 online for parent (easier and didn't have AOS docs ready)

04/13/2021 → I-130 NOA1 available online

04/19/2021 → I-130 NOA1 Mail 

05/03/2021 → Sent through Fedex I-485 (with I-840 and sealed I-693 and I-130 NOA1 copy) I-765 I-131

05/06/2021 → Delivered to USCIS with signature confirmation.

05/25/2021 → Fingerprint Fee Was Received
05/26/2021 → Got text messages for I-485, I-765 and I-131 with receipt numbers.

05/27/2021 → Check cashed.

06/02/2021 → 3 NOAs for I-485, I-765 and I-131 arrived in the mail.

06/30/2021 → I485 online status update "Request for Initial Evidence"

07/06/2021 → RFIE letter arrived in the mail (I864 with 2020 tax return and w2s, 1090s)

07/23/2021 → Sent RFIE response through Fedex.

07/27/2021 → RFIE Response Delivered to USCIS with signature confirmation.

07/28/2021 → Status update RFIE response received. Working on case again. 

08/30/2021→Biometrics notice (no online case status update)

09/22/2021 → Biometrics appointment completed. Online status updated 3 hours later to "Fingerprints Were Taken".

09/23/2021 → I-485 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

11/30/2021 → I-765 - Case approved.

12/01/2021 → I-131 - Case approved.

12/08/2021 → I-765 - Combo Card delivered.

01/03/2022 → SS Card delivered! (From Combo card application)

01/03/2022 → SS Card delivered! (From Combo card application)

03/02/2022 → Interview scheduled. Notice coming in the mail soon.

03/17/2022 → I-130 Approved! Noa in the mail two days later.

03/31/2022 → Interview day and I-485 Card produced by the time we were leaving.
04/01/2022 → Case approved

04/04/2022 → NOA Case Approved arrived in the mail.
04/07/2022 → Parent's Green card in hand!
