My dad send I130 in sep 2016. (F1) six months and not News , what should I do?

Hi, my dad has 74 Y/o , he sent the form I 130 on 23 sep 2016 , receive the noa ,but nothing more..the pourpuse of the form was he is now ola and needs me there.what can i do , and how  can i do to know the time to  have the visa ?  I will apretiate all the info you can give .Thank you

Can he move to you? Seems like an option if he really needs your help. Otherwise, the years going by while you wait for your PD to be current his health could deteriorate more.

No, he lives there more than 40 years..he's still working like psiquiatrist ,no way he come here

You'll receive a welcome letter from NVC, when your Priority date will get current. Also, when your case will be forwarded to NVC, you'll receive your new case No. so, you'll be able to check it online.

Now all you can do, just to check Visa bulletin each month and see how fast "line" is moving, current date is 15OCT2010. Good luck.
