Hello everyone,

I couldn't find a thread for concurrent filing if there is one out there please point me in the right direction.

I was transferred through work last summer from Canada to NYC through an L1 work sponsored employment status. My wife is a dual citizen and we made the decision in December to file for my Greencard hoping to make travel to Canada simpler and give me employment options if needed.

My lawyer filed concurrently for an AOS as well as an i130 in December. I just received my employment authorization card and advanced parole travel card.

Does anyone have experience on what timeline timeline I can expect for the next steps? Has the process slowed down recently due to immigration uncertainty? I noticed my case is being handled by "MSC" unfortunately that service center offers no timelines for processing.

Thanks

Hi,

I am also an L1 to GC and I filed in October. Long story short, it varies greatly depending on your local office. Quiet ones can be done in 3 months, busy ones can take up to 18 months (or more). MSC will not be handling your case for the most part. What do your online status updates say?

As of now the online portal shows my i130 with no updates from December 28th, my i485 shows that they received my ROE on Feb 8th.

OK,

When you see one (usually the 485) change to "Ready to schedule interview" that usually means it has been transferred to your local office. From there it is all up to your field office's processing times (which are published online). MSC got a little swamped post-election so things are running slower but don't panic!
