My fiancé and I have been in AP since 3 Feb, 9 weeks. I know there are some who have been waiting longer. So for those waiting -- new and old -- what's your plan?

We have decided to wait wait until end of May and if we still haven't heard anything then I'll make plans to go there in July and get married and do CR1. Our reason being I'd have to take my son, as getting married in Morocco takes 3-4 weeks, and we would need to go during his summer break.

We contacted our congresswoman after our visa expired to see where it was, and got a letter through her from NVC stating it was still in Morocco and we could inquirie every thirty days, so we will do that, in April and May, but by sometime I just want to regain the ability to make my own choices without indefinitely waiting for the government to decide my fate.

Yes, I know there's no guarantee with CR1 and that takes time too.

Does anyone else have plans by x amount of time? Does this forum hear of most people being approved after x amount of days/weeks or are most just sent back to US to expire?

The reason for you going into Ap for the K1 could be the same reason you can go into AP for the CR1.

Yes, it's possible but no one knows the reasons they go into AP right? We've had more face time but if it was something like our age difference, that isn't something we can change

you are in AP and don't be surprised when case is returned to the US and allowed to die

Casa gives no explanations

all i  can say is go to Morocco and marry and reapply

the decision to deny is made before the interview when the embassy reviews the case

We have a larger age gap and now he is here after a 6 year fight with immigration

upload the application / they never want to see proofs at interview but you are required to have them (if finance didn't bring them, they would use that as excuse)

we went thru K1 and 2 Cr1 applications

can not appeal denial of K1 so only recourse is to reapply

i know you are heartbroken

write to my whats app at 423 260 0096 if you need steps to marry

i will be in Morocco to visit family for a month after April 10th

incha allah

Allah yessir

I wish y

you can win/ patience is needed as this process is HELL on some of us

wishing you the best
