Hello,

Any one to help us here, our case was approved  and sent to US  Embassy Nairobi n February 2017, we received an email with instructions on how to proceed with our visa Application were we  went to immigrant visa section, then create an account. Under the (1) application information (2) courier (3) payment 4) Schedule 5) instructions.  we filled the first two steps well but now we are stuck on  payment section, the system prompted us to print an MRV for visa fee payment at the bank , I traveled from Uganda(My home) to Nairobi to pay but while in the bank they told me the system was down and since it was the deadline date they advised me to generate another visa payment instruction which i tried but failed to get so i decide to rush to the Embassy to pay cash but i was told to go back and  first make an appointment of which you can not schedule any appointment without paying and  when i tried writing an email asking for appointment  they told me the Embassy does not give out appointments its only done on the website.Ever since then we are just stuck on how to get a new MRV for visa payment. we tried calling the Embassy to ask for advice but they told us to keep checking because slots just come randomly, we kept checking even at nights  and  guess what we get my account being blocked. it is so frustrating. Is there any one with the same situation ? Please any information on how to go about this will be appreciated. Thanks

Hmm, I dont know if u ever got ur issue resolved. but if u didnt, I would say that I am also from Uganda and I am doing K1. we got approved in March this year and we already have an interview date. We also had to wait for about three weeks before the website would allow us to generate a payment slip for the MRV coz there were no available interview dates. But right now there are available dates in July, u should be able to generate a new MRV. infact there has been available dates since April. About the website blocking u, I dont think that is possible coz I remember checking that website day and night many many times and i was never blocked. I also called the scheduling agent ( which is contracted by the embassy) so many times
