here is a story as to why "making a call" to ICE for everyone just isn't feasible

Like any person who would call ICE to begin with would listen to VICE. 

 

On another forum I visit I've gladly been in touch with ICE numerous times when they reported known illegals. I'll gladly report all I find and I encourage all to do the same.

You'll find them wearing ####### hats and protesting Trump. 

But it is interesting that illegals in the US have been fleeing to Canada thanks to Trudope's Obama-like invitations to them. We've been talking to our old MP about this and she's been super proactive and getting nationwide attention. If only she was running for PM.

What they don't know is that any asylum/refugee claim would likely be denied due to safe country reciprocal rules.

Many are and papers like the Toronto Star are pitching their usual liberal fits about it. The left and their being at odds with the law transcends borders. Canada had been a lot more aggressive about enforcement because they know welcoming illegals and having social programs like universal aren't sustainable. Their policy is also quite tough on welfare for new immigrants to where they and their sponsors have to pay back every penny of it.

Indeed.  Plus it takes a little while for newcomers to even qualify for universal health care, that's why the ER's are so full.  That and the shortage of doctors.  It's also virtually impossible to work illegally unless you're working as a nail tech or something like that

Yes but (legal) immigrants get AHCIP in Alberta right away. I believe when I immigrated to Ontario in 2011 I had to wait a meager 3 months.
