Hello there,

Here is my concern, I read over my application and documents very many times making sure I had filled out everything properly and I swore that I had filled out all sections properly. Something made me look over my application copy today and I noticed something that terrified me! On the I-129F form, I had forgotten to write in my social security number, I was thinking how could I forget to write this in! However, I did write in my social security number on the G-325A Biographical information form that was filed in that same packet as the I-129F. I am terrified that this may deny my petition, or set back my processing time. Of course, my goal is to be able to bring my fiancé back with me to get married as soon as possible because we miss each other so much every day. I am hoping with everything that this is not a big problem, and if it can be fixed or if is ok as is. Please help me with this, I am terrified that my petition will be denied or add on a longer processing time. Once again, my social security number is specified on the G-325A form, but I am afraid that it may be missing on the I-129F form that is in the same packet as the G-325A. Is this a big problem? Will they just see the social security number from the G-325A and add it onto the I-129F? Will this add on extra processing time for the petition? I hope this does not put a hold on my petition.

I did briefly talk to someone at USCIS and they said that its not really a big error considering that I did write in my ssn on the G-325A form. She did give me some advice if I was very concerned to write a letter explaining to my local field office.

I want to know what you all on Visa Journey think.

This is making me stress out so much I swear I must have filled out the application at least 4 different time over and over again. :(

I suggest taking a step back and a deep breath. :) There's a lot more ahead in your immigration journey, so worrying too much won't be good for you or your fiance.

They may not really care and just see it on the G-325A. If not, they'll issue an RFE for it and you can provide a revised form at that time. RFEs generally only add a few weeks to the process (Mine took exactly 14 calendar days recently).

You generally cannot provide additional evidence to an I-129F case until you receive an RFE. I tried to do so myself but they wouldn't accept it until they issued the RFE (for the exact thing I tried to send them).
