I-131 Advance Parole time scales

Dear All,

 

I am about to file all the petitions at once, in about 2 weeks time. I am wondering if the Advance Parole Petition will be considered before the entire pile of documents as I need to leave the USA before September. I have just called USCIS and was told that they are currently considering applications from August last year. That's a very bad news. Would it really make any sense to submit the form if they will look at it in 7 months? That's a really long wait I can't afford. I have some business to do and a summer house to fix in Europe. Please suggest something or let me know if one of you have applied for it recently and had it granted within a couple of months. I need a light in the tunnel and some positivity.

AP and the EAD probably will only take 3-4 months to receive. The I-485 itself could take 10-12 months for the physical green card.

Thank you, that a long time indeed. I hope that advance parole will get through the post much earlier.
