Can I fill and submit the ds-160 for the beneficiary??

So i received my case # a couple of days ago and I guess we're ready to submit the ds-160 form. My question is can I the petitioner fill out and submit the form myself or does the actual beneficiary has to fill it out themselves. I read on gov website and it says the beneficiary has to fill it out. Just a bit confused, would love some advice thanks!!!

It is best that the beneficiary fills it out him/herself to ensure the accuracy and completeness of info provided. However, if you guys can go through the question one by one and you fill it for her, like another VJer did with his fiancee, that's fine too. Just make sure that she logs back in, reviews it and signs it electronically herself. That's my *suggestion* :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

suggestion and correct answer. Anyways the questions on the form are more about the beneficiary.

The beneficiary is the one responsible for everything in the DS-160 and must be the one to sign it. You can fill out sections for them, or better yet do so with them as suggested above, but the beneficiary needs to ensure 100% accuracy of all the answers. I've seen issues where the petitioner filled in the details while the beneficiary signed it, but some information was inaccurate and it did not go well...
