It's a hit or miss for this kind of RFE.

Myself and another VJ user applied for I-129F at the same time, our NOA1 date was the same, we both simply put that we met our fiances online "Mine literally said "Met online in June 2010, and then met in person at blah blah blah May 2013 blah blah", and didn't even state where we met online. I never received an RFE, but the other user did.

Now including proof that it's not an IMBRA site would have covered all your basis, but it'll be a hit or miss if you get an RFE.

Agreed with ash. I stated the same "met online on (date)" followed by "and met in person on (date)". We did not mention which website was it and we did not get rfe. Because a lot of people got them, asking to clarify the circumstances of meeting, which website, etc, the safest route would be sending a brief explanation of the website and their terms of service, to avoid any doubts that it was not an IMBRA website.

You already sent yours, so whats done is done, there's no use in worrying. If you do get a rfe, it will be an easy fix and now you know how to respond to it.

Not saying it's a bad thing but as a Kano this is one thing some of us have noticed. My asawa was the same way she would believe other Pinoys before she believed me even with evidence. But now those people have been proven wrong enough that she just makes her own opinion now.

You have your point..

USCIS and CO's know that FB is not a marriage broker.

Did you include the group name?  Is the group just a dating group or does it day something to the effect of 'find your American Spouse and file papers' ?.

Likely you should be okay if its just a dating sitr - dont stress as it doesn't change if you will be rfed or not.

We just put the site name which is a polulat subcontinent matrimonial, long term plans sort of dating site.

What is a IMBRA site?

It refers to the International Marriage Broker Regulation Act

Basically back in the day before the Interwebs Marriage Brokers was commonly used for connecting two people located in different countries. The Act is a bunch of regulations to protect people and ensure their rights. But now that you can instantly browse profiles of people half way around the globe while laying on your couch in your undies Marriage Brokers aren't as common. They are still around though.

It shows that you didn't meet through an international marriage broker

I met my husband on Facebook. Randomly, by both posting comments on the one mutual friend's page. So we weren't looking for a relationship and it wasn't in a group, but we definitely didn't attach terms and did not get a RFE for it. Sounds pretty ridiculous to me.
