Here's what i do, i use the case tracker app, and i follow TSC cases before and after my dates by trying the track numbers and pick out all the I-130 cases. I follow 10-20 cases for each DAY from Dec 2016 to Feb 2017. Good thing about the app is when you refresh it all cases will be updated at once. Everyday i look at the 400 cases and i can see the approval pattern. And then i delete the cases when it's complete so everything on the tracking list is outstanding. Some days there will be more RFE sent out, some days there will be move approvals on one particular filing date.

 

As of May 23-24 i saw on the cases i followed (of course it's not possible for me to follow all cases and the app will not allow):

 

- 1 case on Dec 8 sent to DOS

- 2 cases on 12 Dec sent Request for Initial Evidence (what is the difference between Initial evidence and additional evidence?)

- 2 case on Dec 16 sent to DOS

- 1 case on Dec 16 APPROVED (what does it mean? i thought case complete and sent to DOS means complete?)

- 5 cases on Dec 19 sent to DOS

- 1 case on Dec 19 APPROVED

- 1 case on Dec 20 sent to DOS

- 1 case on Dec 21 sent to DOS

- 2 cases on Dec 22 sent to DOS

- 1 case on 22 Dec sent Request for Initial Evidence

- 1 case on Dec 27 sent to DOS

 

Nothing for January is approved on the cases i track. I do this everyday and from what we see they are on Dec.

So the timeline on VJ is not that far off but it doesnt mean all cases by that particular day are cleared, just an indicative day for the furthest day USCIS generally processing...

 

 

 

 

For those wondering this is how it is done. I do not have the time to take this on but it would be great if someone could do it!

Received the approval letter today, but got approved january 3! Glory to God! Pd march 3 2017. I hope and pray for everyone waiting to get their approvals soon too, God bless us all! ❤❤

Not that I know of. Most cases are from March, and a few lucky one from early April.

 

To track cases approval you could go check 'Igor Lists' and set the filters that you need.

04/20/17 - Sent I-130 package

04/21/17 - USCIS received I-130 with PD 04/21

04/26/17 - Received hard copy of NOA1

05/26/17 - Sent K-3 package

05/31/17 - USCIS received I-129F with PD 05/31

10/16/17 - I-130 petition approved & notification of I-129F dismissal were issued

10/22/17 - NOA2 sent by E-mail to our lawyer

10/23/17 - Received hard-copies of both notifications (I-130 NOA2 & I-129F dismissal)

11/15/17 - Case was sent to DoS

11/16/17 - Received an e-mail notification of our case being sent to DoS

11/23/17 - NVC received the case (confirmed over the phone on 11/28) Case # not generated yet

12/01/17 - Got the NVC Case # & IIN over the phone

12/05/17 - AoS and IV fees paid Received Welcome letter through e-mail earlier this day.

01/02/18 - NVC packet delivered to/received by NVC

01/05/18 - SD assigned

02/05/18 - CC (First showing "At NVC" on CEAC, then called and confirmed it)

02/13/18 - Received e-mail notification of our CC and it being placed in queue for interview scheduling

02/13/18 - Just got interview date over the phone: 03/20/2018 Operator said that it was scheduled TODAY and that I'd be getting an e-mail with instructions soon

                    Later on the day I got the e-mail with PDF letter confirming the CC

02/16/18 - Received PDF letter indicating date of interview + instructions CEAC status showing 'In transit'

02/21/18 - CEAC status showing 'Ready'

03/05/18 - Medical exam in Lima, Peru

03/20/18 - Interview date at 10:15 am

03/24/18 - Visa on hand

03/26/18 - Paid the Immigrant Visa Fee

03/28/18 - POE LAX

03/29/18 - Form OS155A ‘Received and in process’

07/13/18 - Status changed to 'Card Is Being Produced' @ the egov.uscis.gov website

07/17/18 - Status changed to 'Card Was Mailed To Me' (this means it was placed in queue to be sent) 

                    On the myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov site status changed to 'Case Closed Card Is Being Produced Non-DACA'

07/18/18 - Status changed to 'Card Was Picked Up By The USPS' Tracking No. was provided

07/20/18 - Card received 114 after POE

Good morning,

yesterday I was notified that a RFE was sent to me (10/4/2017).  I have to wait on the letter to find out what are they requesting.

 

I am petitioning for my step-daughter. 

My PD is 4/7/2017 at Texas center.

 

 

I-130 for my step daughter

 

4/6 - I-130 sent USPS

4/7- I-130 received at Chicago Lockbox

4/12 - Money order cashed

4/13 - Notice of acceptance (Text/ email) - Case assigned to TEXAS

4/18 - Notice of acceptance (regular mail USPS)

10/4- RFE - for intial evidence notice online

10/19/2017 RFE notice received

10/20/17 - RFE response sent

10/21/2017 - RFE delivered to USCIS address

10/23/2017 - USCIS system updated " Response to USCIS request for evidence was received

1/22/2018 - Approved (Tier2 informed me by phone)

2/8/2018 - Case Sent to NVC

2/21/2018 - NVC received case 

3/30/2018 - Case & Invoice number over the phone

3/30/2018 - DS-261 completed

4/2/2018 - Welcome letter by email

4/3/2018 -  Paid $120 & $325

4/10/2018 - Sent IV & AOS documents

4/11/2018 -  Post office delivered documents to NVC

4/11/2018 - Completed DS260

My i130 got apprpved sept. 13 texas service center (PD march 16, 2017)... I just got an email from USCIS that they just sent my case to NVC today oct.5th!!! At least it got sent but why did it take so long! Anyways good luck to everyone, just wanted to update you all!

Just received in mail today Oct 05, 2017. I-130 was approved on Sept 30th, 2017. PD was March 20th, 2017 at TSC. There is no update on online for approved yet.

I called and spoke to Tier 2 officer as my date was Feb 8 he told me I was still within processing time as they are processing application from December 1 he then said that they are just waiting for background checks  and then afterwards file will be sent to NVC and then to embassy for interview , so 240 days and counting just praying for us to receive the visa this time as we were denied K1 in 2016.
